Dont wait, jus send it.

You have the document cover sheet and AOS payment receipt which is more than enough to send the documents. :)

Congrats for everyone.. For me still they hv not got the IV payment, hv to call and check, else we will do the payment again online.

FINALLY !!

Ds-261 check

AOS FEE check

now to wait for the payment to clear.

Question: can i send my iv and aos packages as soon as my aos payment clears? Or do i need to wait until i receive the iv fee?

Yes, I am with Sivin,

send in the docs as soon as you gather them. They will start reviewing them, even if you havent received the IV bill yet.

I feel your pain, seems like we both are/were in the same boat. you could not request expedite with your MIL's passing? our neighbors daughter (over 21) case was granted expedite when he was on death bed and though she did not make it before the death, her interview was 1-2 days after death, she made it to the funeral. This process is just tearing our families apart. I have a family situation but can't request expedite (luckily a happy one), but a lot riding on my hubby being here. the happy times and his being away are causing delays on the occasion hence the stress. sigh... hang in there my friend, we all shall be done with this hopefully soon.

as for your aos fee does it show paid or not even that? is it just the IV fee being stuck now coz you mailed them together?

Thank you! It really means a lot to have a support!

No reason for expedite, as its not urgent anymore, it all happened in 3 days

Hopefully you are right

We only sent in the AOS fee and the docs. We are yet to be invoiced the IV fee.

Because of the fiasco, we were told to send in the docs, which we did, and we paid the AOS fee.

To this date only part showing as complete is DS 261, AOS as unpaid and IV not even invoiced.

I just logged in again and still no progress, the AOS fee is still stuck at 'pay now' but it has been paid since 05/22

I am really hoping for some better new for all of us who are in the 'forgotten' list

This so feels like a black hole

Hey guys!!...who among you paid IV by mail on 29th of June and showed IV fee as PAID on ceac website now?..it's still not paid for me..just show the amount

In your case it's probably the backlog they have. June 29 is not that long ago and you can imagine how many hundreds, probably thousands of money orders they have to input manually.

We paid our IV bill by mail May 8, and it now shows as paid, since yesterday. Thats how long it took for us.

I also have the idea they are gradually fixing the website and putting stuff online, spread over a few days, so that their system doesn't blow up when everybody will log in and start paying online and filing forms at the same time, lol. So yours might pop up tomorrow.

The tax transcripts can be obtained on the IRS website (you get them immediately) or you may request by mail (takes longer). We filed only the IRS Transcripts printed from the website instead of all the different forms and it's just fine.

So does it mean that all these FORMS AND IRS transcript is Equivalent to each other.....

Which one is better?

Oh my!! Pleas help! Need your thoughts! So tonight i completed ds260, reviewed it twice, printed a copy..then i realized as for my self (petitioner), who filled it in behalf of my husband (beneficiary) i put in the space for given surnames DURAN MARTIN..my surname really is MARTIN, middle name is DURAN..now is that a mistake i made? Will this really matter? Because in my files i have always used VENICE DURAN MARTIN..now i cant edit the info because it got submitted already..what should i do??? Can customer representative change this for me?

So, to get it clear: your maiden name is Martin? Where does the name Duran come from? Is it your husbands surname? Different countries and cultures have different name constructions, that's why I ask.

For some people the middle name is a surname and for others the middle name is a given name, so what is Duran?

So, filling in the ds260. I have to fill in my work and scholing history. Does anyone know how the fill this info in when a company is closed because of bankrupty or a faculty is closed? Adresses and phone numbers and what not do not exist anymore. Or does anyone know where to find the info on how to fill it in in cases like this?

they are about the same but transcripts are tad bit better, if you are sending in forms, send everrrrryyyyyyyyyyythinggggggggg all the schedules, itemized deductions etc.

irs website is currently not letting anyone download the transcript due to their breach, so you have to call and order transcripts, they arrive in about 7-10 days. but no reason to delay - you can order them now, but if you have all documents ready just send in the package and hopefully there wont be any issues

i can relate, i kept my hubby awake till about 2am his time yday and called his sister(local to me) and stop helping her husband in backyard and give me some info and then called his mom in england to ask what year did they move to the home hubby spent his childhood, they moved when he was 17 and ds-260 wanted everything from his 16 yrs of age. and amidst all this excitement forgot to open the doggie door, but my baby knew what i was going thru, he didnt get upset with me or bug me and hence made me forget to open the door. i realized that 3 hours after we both woke up!!! and profusely apologized to my fur-baby.
