Given that they lost my EAD application and Biometrics are valid for both AOS and EAD, I'm hoping that I'll have my case number for EAD (which I re-filed for) by the time my Biometrics appointment comes up, and that they won't call me in for a second appointment.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

They might have lost paperwork. Seems to happen every now and then, apparently, like they did with my EAD application (and I have the copies to proves it).

Maybe you are right. It says Initial Evidence after all, rather than Additional Evidence.

Just seems strange they would do this in the gap between NOA1 and my biometrics...

Hi everyone! Those of you who are done with biometrics, what does it say on your USCIS case status? Mine still says "case was received". Is this normal?

For EAD/AP it says case received, for AOS it still says that they accepted our fingerprint fee...

The Case Tracker kind of sucks since sometimes they update, other times they don't...

Hey everyone.

I decided to start a new thread for anyone filing AOS from K-1 this month. I mailed my application on May 27, I am now awaiting my NOA1. I Would love to start a discussion with others as they begin this process as well.

Thank you all.

With the aos do we have to send money alone with it ?
