Hey Abby, I'm confused about the packet you just mentioned. ...so once we get the NOA2 we also get a packet? Sorry I'm all new to this so I have no clue...thx

No, we only get the NOA2 hard copy, but after that arrives I will send a package to my fiance with a copy of the I-129F packet, copy of NOA2 hard copy, and I-134.

From the K-1 guide section:

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).
2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance(e) to have on hand for their interview at the embassy.
3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form.
4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form.
5. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail.
6. Proof of your ongoing relationship.

My fiance will be sending me the i-129f and the affidavit of support along with his new letter of intent shortly (we`re expecting our NOA2 at the end of July, beginning of August). He`ll just scan the NOA2 for me to print out. If we get an RFE it`ll most likely be for my G-325a in which case I can just print it out again, I already sent him the corrected version in case we get an RFE for it.

Do we have to send anything to the embassy after we get our noa2 or do we just have to take all our stuff to the interview?

It depends on the embassy. Germany has wanted things before. I have seen some post a different letter than what is on the site.

New member here and joining this thread. :)

Welcome!

Have you filed already or still looking around gathering information?

Either way best of luck!! Most of us in this thread are currently awaiting approval and most of us expect it in July or the beginning of August!

I just received my NOA2!

I was hesitant and confused filling out the forms, even after buying a book on the process.

Then I found this site.

This site was a great help in putting the application packet together.

Thanks everybody!

Thanks be to god.

Wow. Congratulations! They got ours last June 8, so I was thinking that ours would be adjudicated next week. Really nervous and yet excited.

No RFE or NOA2 yet, although I don't expect it until the first week in August.

When will you guys send the next package to your fiance (or when will they be sending it to you)? I read that you should send it right when you get the NOA2 hard copy so that you can include a copy of that, plus any RFE's, etc.

John's birthday is in a few weeks, so I was going to send him all the info, plus a nice gift, but I don't want to be waiting around for the NOA2. Maybe I can just scan a copy for him that he can print out and add to the packet.

Luckily, my fiance was here in Izmir/Turkey when we completed the file so we made 3 exact copies : 1 sent to USCIS, 1 for fiance and 1 for me. My copy has also the wet signatures on all docs so it's actually an original file :)

Fiance will send me the NOA1 & NOA2 and address change confirmation letter (this is specific to us) along with "statement of intent to marry" addressed to the embassy in Ankara. He'll also send me his latest pay stubs cause I already have I-134 Affidavit of Support form readily in hand.

It makes me excited to see that early June filers are started to be approved and our NOA1 date is 06/16. Can't wait!!!

Sooo my fiancee used a cashier's cheque, didn't sent the G-1145 form or a cover letter, and he didn't send it registered mail.

Can you all give me an estimated time between when you sent your petition and received your hardcopy NOA1?

At this point, I am expecting an RFE because I don't know what else he didn't do or include.
