Had my interview today and it was approved. I will give the details later when I am calm. Thanks VJ, I couldn't have done it with you all

Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

Yes.. she will board that plane on the 16th, so it is well that she went to see her family.Tell me about passport pick up, how is it done and where is the pick up in Nairobi? Did you guys buy a one way ticket, is it ok? Am curious but I will spare you for now. God is good.

Yes Faith totally! For passport pick up, you will need to sign up with Nairobi Embassy when your status is "Ready". You will then choose a DHL location in the whole country where you would like them to send your passport once they are done with it. No more going to the Embassy.

Ticket, yes you only need a one way ticket since its an Immigrant Visa and they shoudn't have any problem because you are not required to return soon like a visitor or short non-immigrant visa.

Register with the Embassy if you havent and that print out has to go with during the interview.

Hey guys i book my medical for June 11, 2015 with Dr. Randell.

I got ours booked for June 16th with Dr. Lee!!

It's at 8:30 in the morning, so that means a stupid-early drive up!! **groan**

Met in the SCA - DRACO INVICTUS!  08-14-2014 Married in Ann Arbor, MI

USCIS.... DONE  in 150 day from NOA1 to NOA2 (TSC)

NVC... DONE  in 116 days from NOA2 to final CC

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE
POE 08-11-2015 in Detroit, MI 

 

 

 

 

Removal of Conditions

07-11-2017 NOA1 date (rec'd on 14th)

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

WAC17283xxxxx....and we wait...400 days

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!

Yes you need a Social security number to legally work in US. It takes about 2 to 4 weeks to get one.

When can we register our appointment online for the interview just curious.

right now it still says "at nvc".... I believe we can register when it changes to "ready" (meaning our paperwork is at Montreal)

Interview date scheduled on 31 July.... whew... good that they didn't leave us for August... !!! My petitioner was able to get NVC on the phone after trying for the entire day !

Please add me to the CC to interview spreadsheet. FB4 Visa, CC - 5May (Phone), Email CC received - 12May, Interview date - 31 July (given on phone on 3rd June).

We don't have Your category (FB-4) on the spreadsheet because your wait is too long from CC to interview and it wouldn't be realistic number. We only have Spouses and those petitioning children since that is usually immediate. Sorry

So excited! Finally got an interview day. Madrid July 13th at 2pm! CC was April 14th. The interview was assigned yesterday, the lovely girl in the NVC told me, and I should get notification this week.

Got through in a record 15 minutes as well (15 minutes hold I mean). Got through first time as I called at 7am (1pm in Spain).

Long story short, anyone who is up, get calling the NVC!!! Especially the other Spanish person I saw on the spreadsheet - Job?

I am wondering about what is the K-1 visa Packet?and from where I am going to recieve it?

from the consulat or my Fiancée has to send it to me?

The lady said I will need to bring the letter from the Consulate (confirming the date). Medical is in two weeks so I am betting on having it by then.

NVC told you the email should be out in a few days, right?

I called NVC again this morning the lady said you will get the email confirmation in few days. You right the doctor receptionist told me too that i need to bring the letter from the consulate ( Confirming the date).
