Thanks for your reply. I called NVC to enquire Friday and they do not require it any longer at this stage although it is still indicated on the website. It was not on our list of documents to bring. So we are not suppose to have a checklist. Will see

KiRilie, yes, you are required to submit two photographs with the IV package. Since this is absent from your package, you may receive a checklist for it. You also have to take two additional photographs to your interview.

I am almost 100% positive that NVC changed it's procedures this year and you don't have to submit passport photos. You do however have to bring them to the interview.

Congrats everyone. Quick Question. I rec' A request for additional evidence divorce decree was missing. (I have it ) My question is - my husband has a daughter she will remain with the mother for now in Romania. and come with us on vacations , holidays etc . The officer did not ask for her birth certificate , which I have. Should I include it now? as it wasn't in the I- 130 when we submitted. He didn't ask for it only the decree. Your thoughts?

Thank you in advance

Hi everyone,

Did anyone receive an email like this? This was attached to the email

"

Dear Sir/Madam

The National Visa Center(NVC received your documents on 28-DEC-15. We are experiencing high volume of incoming mail at this time. Please allow 30 days from the date we received your mail for the NVC to review your documents. We are diligently working to reduce our review time and appreciate your patience. The NVC will notify you after our review if there is additional information required or we are able to schedule your case for an interview overseas."

This was such a teaser. When I got the notification on my phone that I got an email from NVC, I was all excited but it looks like the waiting continues.

Hi Can someone help? How long after USCIS rec' my RFE evidence does it take for them to give us an answer? There is no time frame for this but according to others on here, your approval or another RFE after sending the requested docmument wouldn't take long, usually within 1-3 weeks. If what you submitted is exactly what they want then your approval wouldn't take long to be issued.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you
