HI,EVERYONE

I'VE BEEN THROUGH A LONG WAITING TIME WITH TEXAS SERVICE CENTER SINCE 10/10/2014 AND FINALLY MY STATUS ON USCIS WEBSITE HAS CHANGED.

HOWEVER, IT ISN'T APPROVAL FOR MY APPLICATION, BUT A "Request for Initial Evidence Notice Was Mailed"

anyone has any idea that what i need to re-submit? i have already submitted all the documents that is on the list they require.

06/15/2016- Interview, given option to file I-601 waiver.
08/16/2016- Waiver submitted (no lawyer).

04/2017- Fourth visit to Nigeria.  K1 officially denied. 
04/25/2017- NOA1 for 2nd K1.

OK, SO I THINK I WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT, IT SHOWS THAT THE STATUS WAS CHANGED ON APRIL 25.

No one can know what you need to respond to the RFE. You will receive a hard copy of it, or your lawyer will, and at that time you will know for sure what they want/need from you.

thats one disadvantage of using a lawyer....sometimes they forget to include things that should be included due to the fact that your case is just one of so many he/she is handling.

yes, you are right, but back in the time, i thought that would be better just give it to the lawyer and now i see the result.

i didn't know this website until 3 month after the app was submitted.

i couldn't stand the long wait and try to look for some help from internet, and i found VJ, you guys are great.

I'd sack the lawyer. It will save you money. Most of us here didn't use lawyers and we've got through the process with no RFEs. You'd have thought a lawyer would ensure everything that was required was sent.

i will do it myself once i receive the letter and will just ask question to all you guys on VJ.

you guys are really helpful.

Since it says "initial evidence"...and not "additional evidence"...it could be like mine....I didn't include 2 passports of myself as the petitioner.

good to hear that, i will see when i get the letter.
