You might want to check http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/523897-new-islamabad-ap-tracker-part-iii/

Although, I would think if they said you will receive your passport within 2 weeks, then the AP is likely the finalization of your visa production.

Usually it will be months, sometimes years.

IF Co said you were approved then you will get your visa within a week or 2 Insha Allha don,t worry just wait for few days !

Don't get people's hopes up.

Many people get approved and then stay in AP for horrible long times.

Someone has been in AP for two years.

Just because they were approved does not mean AP will be short.

We hope so but its no guarantee.

Just because a person is Muslim or from a Muslim country does not mean that they will automatically have AP, many times this is not the case. And if they do get AP it doesn't always mean the AP will be long. I have seen you all over this site in the recent past telling people that just because they are Muslim they will have AP, please stop because it just isn't true.

I just pray it will not take that long.. Can you plz tell me Administrative process status comes with every application after interview or few ?

Everyone gets AP. Sometimes it's a few hours or a couple of days.

It is rare to go longer.

Dominican Republic is not a Muslim country, so why have you been stuck in AP for so long? :)

I am in ap because the consulate has a mistake with my name, they think a have been arrested 2 times.

Even if they have all papers that show that i havent been arrested.

If you read my post, i didnt say that everybody from muslin country go to ap, i said that usualky muslin country and high fraud country get more ap than others country.

Right! Thank you.

Friend , not to worry ,

i was interviewed and approved on the 1st of April , the case status was Ready on that day, AP on the next day and Issued on the 3rd day.

So the AP usually last for 1 day if your visa is about to get issued /stamped on the passport.

I got my passport/immigration packet today . :dancing: :joy: :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

Thanks and wish u best of luck .

I just pray it will not take that long.. Can you plz tell me Administrative process status comes with every application after interview or few ?
