HI Everyone,

been on here for awhile just looking and reading.

But here is my story and progress:

- been together since 2003.

- we got married in Jan. 18, 2014 in PI.

- Filed for I-130 on April 1, 2015 to phoenix lock box then sent to Nebraska and got my NOA on April 10th.

- Then on May 7th I got a text message saying my I-130 got approved.

FYI we are both foreign nationals, I am from Hawaii and my wife is from Madrid but we were born in the PI but I was legally a US citizen not a Filipino citizen because of my father, but my wife holds a dual passports, Euro and PI, she moved there when she was 7 years, and got her PI passport before we got married to make it easier on us.

So I don't know if that help us at all but we both do not live in the Philippines and my I-130 already got approved just waiting couple more days to the end of the moth to call nvc. I was expecting to be longer before ours got approved. Just need to be patient!! :D

Hello everyone! Just want to share our progress.

Hubby filed I-130 April 15 sent at Phoenix Az Lockbox. He got in the mail Receipt Notice dated April 21. Priority Date is April 17. Processed in Nebraska Service Center. He called twice to check on the progress and consistent on saying Case is Active still processing. Everyday he checks on My case status, found out on May 7 they Approved the case. He got the Notice of approval in the mail May 11. "Case was approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State (NVC). " They said to allow 30 days for the Dept of State processing before contacting them.

Praying for speedy response.

Congrats.

Anyone else getting approved yet?

I don't think we're gonna start seeing approvals until July/August. At least for us who are not from the Phillipines.

Congrats on thefast approvals and you are very lucky!

Can someone explain to me why the Immigration Timeline moves back and forth? Our file was sent to Vermont. Over the weekend, it said that Vermont is working on files from December and today it said February 20th which means we can expect to hear something next month. Where does the information come from and why does it change daily?

Those processing times are created from people's timelines on VJ

So if people don't update or put incorrect dates in it reflects on the site.

Best just to work off your own NOA1 date and the USCIS processing times.

Today we reach day 40 after NOA1... I'm losing hope on getting "auto-expedited" for filing from abroad.

I guess we will wait the "standard" 5 months between NOA1-NOA2...

CSC workload might be really bad right now. Maybe better in next month.

Keep praying. :)
