Hardcopy came today :) Man, it finally feels like stuff is moving :dancing:

Is it bad that the neighbor eyeballed me strangely, considering I was squealing with delight as I was getting the mail?

Not at all lol...I've been caught jumping up and down with excitement more than once ?

Scott had his medical today at Knightsbridge. I feel like things are finally moving!

Yea!! Next up will be your interview letter ?? This part moves quickly compared to what we've already been through! Did you send your DS-160 and readiness forms out?

So I got this update today on CEAC. Im a little confused because we turned in our DS160 and Readiness form last weekend. Does this mean they just entered them?

"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: "

I am so not cut out for this. With all this stuff plus now wedding stress I might not have any hair left by the wedding from ripping it out!:blink::cry:

We started planning our wedding last September knowing we would always have a small civil ceremony when he got here & then our big wedding in September. Planning a wedding is definitely stressful - especially going through this process on top of it. It's another thing the government has taken from me because unlike most grooms- James wasn't here to go see our venues or be hands on with the planning. All our decisions were made over FaceTime. Most brides fall apart over wedding planning....we have that on top of a Visa process....the stress is overwhelming at times. At least once a week I break down just because it's become almost unbearable being apart at this point. So I feel you....I hope you can find a venue ? We're actually getting married in the lobby of a beautiful, restored theater where I'm from ?

Nich, we were going to originally have a small wedding of about 20 in a beautiful cave with a waterfall . But they have now decided they don't do the small intimate weddings in July anymore and their package for more is laughable. So we are hoping to now do one that is less than 50 people but still simple but nice. I hopefully have found a place but we will see. But we wanted simple and nice and a little non traditional. I mean I'm wearing converse and my cake has a zombie statue on it we had made for us. Lol plus my hair piece has r2d2 on it. So a little eclectic and crazy and fun. And maybe a little nerdy lol but I just have to find another place within budget now.

I have had several meltdowns over the course of two days. I didn't want to do the civil one and then a big one later on Renee only because ours is small anyways and by that time my daughters dance and school will be in full swing. Lol

oh wow :) We are getting married in June as well :) We were planning on an elopement wedding wherein we will just have 2 guests to witness the wedding, but now, my fiance's friends keeps egging him, since they won't be able to come to our destination wedding next year ( with the full Catholic extravaganza :) ) So brides-to-be :) let's just breathe it all in, and breathe out all the stress away.. :)

Anyways, I will have my interview next week, aside from the documents in their checklist, is there something I should be preparing for? I keep thinking that i am so relaxed right now, and then come interview time, I would forget to bring something important. :o

Do you have another option you can choose from, or maybe several? Personally that's what I'm terrified about too, but I don't dare book until he has his interview date. I know when it comes time to reserve all this stuff I'll start freaking out. The minister especially... she's retiring at the end of the year!

Hi guys

We got our new case number from NVC yesterday morning, tried to enter it into CEAC - Immigration Visa Drop down etc but it says 'your search returned no data'

I'm sure the case number I have is the right format - LND2015****** (that's 5 numbers following 2015)

Is this a case of them having not fully entered our case into the system? Or have I been given an incorrect case number?
