Hi guys

We got our new case number from NVC yesterday morning, tried to enter it into CEAC - Immigration Visa Drop down etc but it says 'your search returned no data'

I'm sure the case number I have is the right format - LND2015****** (that's 5 numbers following 2015)

Is this a case of them having not fully entered our case into the system? Or have I been given an incorrect case number?

You may be too early. It can take a full 24 hours for it to activate on the CEAC. Give it until this evening and try again.

My update is not exactly visa/wedding related, but part of this process.

Friday is my last day at work and I feel so lost and detached from everything. The whole world around me feels like it doesn't really exist.

On a slightly more amusing note, it's just mind-blowing how much stuff gets accumulated in an office over the course of almost a decade. I've discovered snow boots, make up, a shirt (?), socks, a clothes pin, art by my daughter when she was 4 or 5 years old, a tin of peppermints (that must be older than my daughter was when she created said art) ...... Only things I haven't found yet is a toothbrush and a bottle of shampoo!

My star find of the day was the clothes pin. I mean really? Why? It was a Whisky Tango Foxtrot moment!

Yes- I tried logging in the number the day I got it and flipped out because I got the same message....no worries- the next day it showed up :) It feels good getting that number though doesn't it? Proof positive that your petition is no longer in the hands of the incapable people at TSC :dancing:

Lol yes I feel the same. And I also feel like life is standing still at the moment but everything around me is still moving. If that makes sense. Really struggling as of late. I know your journey is almost over. And I find all kinds of weird stuff in my desk. When do you fly Lee?

You made a wise decision. That music was the soundtrack to my dreams for about a month!

I don't know. This probably would (and is?) the main source of frustration right now in that instead of being asked "Any news?" every day, I am being asked "So when is your flight booked for?" I can assure you though, we are on the first flight out the day after the visa arrives. I've been living out of suitcases for two and a half months so I just need to pick up my stuff and go when the visa gets here. I am just craving stability now and just want to go home and be with William. You will know exactly what I mean :)

As for the office, I have always had my own personal office here and it's a fair size. I was the first person to move into it so it's very much mine and it shows. I'm presently looking for someone to adopt and care for my Storm Trooper. I can't just abandon him, but the office wouldn't be the same without him :D

Yes I completely understand. He is on the flight the day after as well. In light of some personal stuff that has gone on in my life I wish that it was sooner rather than later. Because apart is very hard, for us all.

Lol you mean had his medical? And yes you should get it in a couple weeks. That update will be his medical results received probably. Awesome :)

Yes that update will most likely be where they received his medical records. And it's usually a week or two after that they mail it.
