Picking up malware on VJ

My AVAST antivirus is picking up a threat (and alarm goes off) on the Current Events CEHST forum:

I think the infection's name is: HTML: script-inf

I get things like that all the time when I am on my laptop and open certain pages.

Have to turn off my anti vast for a short time to access threads.

Super annoying. Not sure what's going on.

It seems to be random for me.

Just happened again when I googled for a thread that I wanted to pull some information from.

And when I click the Google link to open the page in a new tab, that's when my software is like noooooooo....

Hence why I mostly use my phone for all this.

But if I ever see anything specific I'll try and pin point it.

yeah it is very Weird. AVS seems to be the only Antivirus that is giving issues. Perhaps an issue with their software or algorithms.

In other words AVAST's false-positive crazy heuristics.

yeah, there are pages of discussion on AVAST's false-positives for that particular 'virus' if you google search it.
