:( I hate that. I really, really do. Hold on tight to each other and may the months pass quickly for you two. May your time be shortened to six or less months!

Received the hard copy last week. Apparently we work faster than they do. lol

Did he make it to Malaysia?

Signature coming soon...

2 weeks and counting after submitting and CSC receipt of documents for RFE. Still waiting for approval on NOA2. Our original NOA1 was March 9th - one of the first ones in March.

Our RFE was for the dating site/marriage broker confusion that CSC seems to have. As a comparison of timelines, there are couples that already have interview dates set at the embassy as we still wait for NOA2. Although our RFE seems unavoidable due to the circumstances, it is a good example to others to be sure and check your documents for accuracy and completeness. Leaving out a signature, missing a something like a letter of intent can cost you a month in delay.

However, I did get "approved" for another Amex card yesterday. :)

Congratulations on your new teaching job! I've been accepted to join Teach for America in Milwqukee next year (I'm finishing a graduate math degree between now and then), so my fiance--or should I say husband?--will be moving shortly after he comes to the States as well. I'm hoping things at TSC speed up somewhat, though; I had really wanted him to have the chance to get to know my family more before we move, but at the current rate, that's looking unlikely.

There's a lot of teachers among us. Makes me wonder what everyone else does?

Thank you! And Congratulations to you as well! That's funny how many of us there are! I hope things speed up for you guys too, it's heartbreaking to see everyone having to wait so long at TSC. :(

I just arrived here in Vermont today to start to look for a place or us to live and skyping with my fiance whose first question was, "Did you check the CEAC site yet today?" Hahahah.

Congrats to all along the journey........ My fiancee is here with me and we recieved the update today。 Embassy has the papers, status is ready!!!!!! :dancing:

Congratulations!!!!

Not me. :P I'm just waiting now for NVC. I hope they'll have it soon. If it will go by very quickly since we have California as our service center :) And in the summer you guys will have an interview and he'll come in the summer too. Hope you get yours soon. Just got done checking ceac site. Ours went from "at NVC" to "Ready". So she will be doing Medical on Monday and interview on Friday (next week). Good luck on your journey and all our fellow VJ'ers. This site really helps a lot.
