Ritbiv...The number we got was something like this - A123 456 789. It was in Beneficiary Section.

We used it in the first page of I-864 form, where it was asked. Did you also use it?

Attached is the image. In beneficiary section,...

Yes, that is an A number, aka Alien Registration number. Use that number on all the forms where they request the A/Alien Registration Number.

it takes about 2 business days for it to show paid . to be safe wait til ti shows paid then send docs. and yes use AOS barcode but i never checked it its there before or after check and see if its there now . and 60days starts when they receive your package. they signed for my packet on 2/3 and that was my scan date.

Thanks ItsGonnaBeworthIt,

It's good that we don't have to wait until the IV fee to be paid to send the package. It would save us a lot of time. So for documents of the beneficicary in IV package, do you just make regular copy of the original document or you have to make the copy to be notarised?

Regarding scan dates: don't forget, NVC will never be at one specific date. It's a RANGE of dates. So, look at the last few people who have gotten case completes this week, and you'll see for yourself what range of dates they're on.

Sorry they lost your police certificate. Was it an original?

I would call and ask to talk to a supervisor, and make the same requests you listed in order. I think you should have a strong case because you waited 83 days, not 60, so they should do something to help you in return (CC or expedite). Any agency that respects itself will do this on its own, without being asked to.

Ask the supervisor if an expedite is a faster option for you, but the embassy has to approve your expedite request.

This should not have been an issue at all.

Remember, THEY should fix their mistake for making you wait 83 days, they're not doing you a favor.

I would definitely call and try and talk to a supervisor. This seems like exactly the type of case where they will give you CC and allow you to present the original copy of the police certify on the day of the interview.

THANK GOD i just called again and spoke to another rep. she told me .they did not lost anything.everything has been reviewed .they are just reviewing my 2 police certificate .WTH.was that rep she scared the hell out of me.

thanks!!!

my husband (USC) and I discussed agents.....agreed that none should be it but that I should be the one doing the main contact, but I'm rethinking this and wonder if he's the one doing the paying of bills that he be it. What are your thoughts on this?

anxiously awaiting to have this entire process done....10 months at uscis was brutal!!!

I'm the USC so I put myself as the agent since he receives as the beneficiary correspondence either way.

I do think is easier if he's using his checking information, but both can access ceac either way.

I'm able to pay my IV fee!!!! It opened in one day thanks to that rep. ?
