It's been 13 days since our NOA2 and we have heard nothing either. I spoke to a Tier 2 officer last week and he said sometimes it can take up to 15 days. We will have notification soon. Our case could be at NVC and we wouldn't even know it, so I am calling in the morning.

Ours was sent today. Yours should be soon. It was approved before us.

This thread are for the July 2014 TSC filers who have received their NOA2. And would love to share their next phase of NVC experience. Please include your NOA1 and NOA2 dates accordingly. Thank you.

It will help other July 2014 TSC filers have an idea on where TSC is.

The wait time must have been difficult; however, we are still hanging in there stronger (with encouraging words from our love ones and VJ members). Don't give up!!!

Best of luck to everyone.

We are new to this site, I, Melinda (Malak) am struggling to learn more and know what we can expect and where our petition is at this time. I mailed our petition to the Dallas Lockbox June 23, 2014, via Express Mail (signature required). We received our NOA-1 the 2nd week of July. It was dated July 3, 2014.

Nov 4, 2014 - Received an email notification that the Alien Registration number had been changed on our petition.

Dec. 9, 2014 - Received an email notification, a duplicate from the one received in June that our petition had been received. Contacted USCIS and was told if we had not received an notice by Jan. 9, 2015 to call back.

Jan. 9, 2015 - Called USCIS, an inquiry was made on our behalf.

Jan. 23, 2015 - Received an email (after 10:00 pm Central Time) that our petition had been approved (NOA-2).

Jan. 29, 2015 - Received NOA-2 Hardcopy

Feb. 2, 2015 - Received Notice that Petition had been sent to NVC

Currently: Unable to contact a living soul at the NVC; Not sure if weather conditions are the issue or what.

If anyone has any insight into the NVC, please let me know.

Due to the volume of calls they handle it will take multiple attempts to get through. Also, If you plan to look for advice from other members it's best to add the timeline you outline above to your VJ timeline - this way members can see what your particular journey has been and they can respond better to your questions. You can select "edit timeline" and then add the dates.

Good luck on the rest of your journey.

Our file is IN TRANSIT as of 4:30 am EST. NVC must update their status' overnight too because we were still AT NVC when I checked before going to bed. Reading IN TRANSIT feels every bit as good as APPROVED. I have been struggling with a project that is due today - boy did I need this.

FYI - It took 15days from the time the file arrived at NVC. I was told that it really depends on the country the beneficiary comes from as to how and when file get shipped. If your finance/fiancee is from a country that infrequently processes K1s then the file is sent as it becomes ready. If on the other hand, you are from a country that has quite a few applications then files are gathered and sent in batches - about every two weeks or so. Also, the method of shipping DHL v US Mail is also consulate dependent.

Good luck!
