I'm scheduled for US Citizenship interview this coming Thursday, January 15, 2015. Any tips such as:

Questions regarding my application? My status before I got my Green Card through 245i Life Act? Are they going to question how I got my green card or they already know?

I'm a little nervous although I've been refreshing my memory almost everyday about the Civics Test. Can anybody give me motivation on how will I deal with this on Thursday, Thanks.

Don't be nervous. Remember this stage is the easiest stage if you don't have anything funky. they won't ask you about your status maybe a little just to see if any of your story changed. The question are easy you get to answer 6 right out of 10. Sometimes the officer even when you get 6 continue and have you answer the 10 questions (thats what happened to me). Remember they know everything about you before you come, so be truthful. be relaxed, smile, be excited. Good luck.

Thanks to all who gave me good advises. First, I took a day off before my interview to refresh my memory about the civics test and review my application. I was surprised that's what happened during the interview. The Officer asked me questions from the civics test and questions about my application.

My interview took place at the Federal Building in Los Angeles. Exact time of my appointment was 12:05. I left early because I know LA traffic would be really bad especially during rush hour. So I got there 2 hours before my interview, parked my car at a structured parking across the street from the building. Ate breakfast and taking my time reviewing the civics questions again on the app that I downloaded on my phone. An hour before my interview I saw that there's a very long line of people who are also scheduled for interview (My tip, I would say be there an hour early before your interview because the line can be longer).

Walked inside and got inspected by security and immigration officers, electronics, metals, and other accessories that you have even removing shoes. Sat on the lobby chair for an extra 30 minutes then went over the civics questions again. Then proceed to the interview place. I was inside and got overwhelmed by the number of people who are scheduled for interview, like 70 at least and it doesn't stop there, people come and go, some are sad and some are very happy and it's really making me nervous while I wait for my turn. I waited for an additional 1 hour before I got called. It didn't really start at 12:05.

I'm not going to give the officers name but she's a female and at first I thought she was very strict. She called me and we went to her office and introduce her name. She closed the door and the first thing she asked from me are my passports and my green card. She said shes' going to make copies. Then told me to stand up and raise my right hand and asked me something like "Are you willing to tell the truth and nothing but the truth" so I said I do. I was really nervous and my palms are like sweating.

Then she said, now let's start with your application. Asked me my full name, birthday, my address, where I work and every page detail of my application. She's matching my answers based on the application that I filled up,so as a tip please review your application and make sure you remember what you had written there. For me, being single is an advantage because that's like 3 pages that was skipped because all my answers are N/A. After the application interview she gave me a piece of paper and told me to write "THIS DAY IN JUNE", then she made me say "IT'S THE MONTH OF JANUARY". Then we went over the civics questions. It was very easy until she asked me the 6th question which is "What is the Rule of the Land" and I asked can you repeat that, she asked me again "What is the Rule of the Land. I was confused for like 2 seconds so I thought she was asking me "What is the Rule of Law" so I answered "Everyone must follow the Law" Then her eyes got big and asked me "What is the rule of the land" then maybe she realized her question was wrong, she said no no wait I'm sorry What is the Supreme Law of the land and I said The constitution. Then she said what is the question to that answer again and I said what is the rule of law and she said, oh yes, you're right so i just smiled and said it's ok. Then after I answered all 6 questions, she flipped the pages of my application and checked if everything is ok. Then she made me sign like 3 pages of paper completing the interview and she gave me a piece of paper that says I passed the civics test and my application will be sent for approval. Then she stood up and congratulated me. She said USCIS will mail you a notice within 120 days on when and where you're oath ceremony would be. And I said Thank you so much and she walked me out the exit door and told me to follow the directions going downstairs. As I left the building I did a fist pump and said yeah and the security saw me and said "Finally' and I said again Yeah.
