hi!

you can send around 10 pictures along with the petition, also you can attach boarding passes of you both, visas, hotel reservation, tickets -- anything that has proof with names and dates. you can print pictures on any paper, it doesn't matter much, just make sure it has good enough quality to discern faces. Good luck!

Hi guys

For the documentary proof on having meet in the past 2 years...

  • how much pictures is enough/ too much I believe that we sent in 5-10 maximum.
  • can I print it colored on a white paper? LOL All of our photos have been printed on plain white paper with a color laser printer.
  • what else can be suggested as proof? Read the K1 Guide for other great examples of types of proof, link provided below.

Thanks everyone.

It is good to include pictures, however, those are not considered primary evidence, so make sure you include some of the items suggested in the above posts. Copies of Passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts, anything that can show you were both in the same place together.

my strong proofs would be pictures (I think, probably looked younger way back then). I have passport stamps that I went visit him. I have this one letter I gave him during our first anniversary in 2011 though and that's it. am I in trouble now?

I don't think you are in trouble :) - just be sure to include the passport stamps.

Remember to write the date, location and who is in the photos on the back of each one. Also, try to select photos that show you doing various activities together, demonstrating you are a real couple, rather than just "selfies". For example, we only sent 12 photos but we included one from a trip to the zoo, one from a surprise party, one of us on holiday together etc...

Boarding passes, flight itineraries/receipts and passport stamps are also good to include.

Any other hotel/accommodation/travel receipts you have to demonstrate you being in their country/you being together.

We also wrote a letter outlining our relationship "timeline"- some people choose to include these.

Good luck!

no that is good enough especially the passports stamps that proves you was actually in the country. The pictures are only secondary evidence and it helps show your relationship. The one letter will be good too

I forgot to check your timeline and to see what country you filing for as some countries are consider more high fraud risk then others and the more evidence you send in the better
