hey guys, my interview is on February 26th. My husband has not filed taxes for 2014 yet. So in AOS package we sent tax return slips of 2013. Now at New Delhi Consulate, they would ask for W2 form, so w2 for 2013 is enough? Also do we need to carry W2 of previous years too? There are no updates in our AOS package after it was approved by NVC. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea about this tax return and w2s, so please if anybody could help :/

Its embassy dependent. I know Montreal embassy typically does scheduling at the end of the month (29-31) and then sometimes around mid month (13-15).

Download dwheels spreadsheet, then sort the data by Country and see if you can see a pattern for your embassy.

I already created profile on ustraveldocs to schedule for VAC (fingerprint and digital pic) you can start on that. Im not sure what is your situation but on new system you can schedule your own interview date.

I tried doing the same thing but it takes me to my country's embassy. Does this work only for specific consulates?

I dont think it apply to all embassy the new process. We are Dominican Republuc embassy they have a new scheduling process.

Have your husband wait a little with 2014 tax filing.

I would bring tax transcripts for the 2011-2012-2013 and W2 for 2014.

My wife has taken an interview in Japanese Embassy, and approved after only 5 questions today.

She said the interviewer was very friendly and always smiling, ah we're lucky

Everything is done.

We'll have our wedding ceremony next month and then she'll quit her job in Japan, and come to US.

Finally it's 2 years since we started live apart!

Sure, W2 is a form that employers send to their employees normally no later than January 31.

Its been 3weeks of cc but still no interview date.can nyone tell me wen they schedule dates??

My estimate is wednesday the 28th.

When you got your Case Complete Scheduling for February had completed.

Sorry to bug you all, but I'm confused with the information posted on my wife's country's info page: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Taiwan&cty=Taipei

First off it says that we must fill out a DS-160, which is a non immigrant visa. Is this really something that we must do? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Then it says that I must apply for the I-134 affidavit of support. This also doesn't make sense to me. Didn't I already do all of this with my AOS and IV package?

Next is says that we must bring things that we've already gotten approved during the whole NVC process, such as: police certificates, birth certificates, evidence of financial support, the DS-230, and marriage certificate. Do we have to go apply and get all of these things again and bring them to the interview ourselves? Or will the package from NVC sent to the consulate contain all of these things that were needed in our AOS and IV package and we don't need to bring them?

Also, I am the petitioner and will be attending the interview. Do I need to bring my U.S. birth certificate?

I apologize for the panic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would have w2 for 2014 thats what is important to show current what he made since you haven;t done taxes and they aren;t expecting that anyway.

Poor Embassy they so confused. I hope they know how to administer the test. Did they at least swab your husband or they have to wait now? Soryy for all the confusion you are having with them.

Please excuse the late response. My hubby is scheduled for 2/23/15...why does it take so long for him to get his cheek swabbed? SMH
