No way to know since there are people for Kingston waiting since November. There is quite a long list of people for your embassy. I am afraid they will run out of slots before they run out of people to fill them.

Currently 11/14 CC and before them is what was scheduled.

I guess i'll just have to wait.

Can we schedule biometric appoinement in a city other than where interview is scheduled? My interview is in Mumbai (Feb 27th), but I was wondering if I could get biometrics done in Hyderabad where I will be going for Medical. Also, can the biometrics be done much earlier than the interview?

Thanks

Does anyone know approximately what the waiting time is to receive the Social Security Card? We selected "yes" in our DS-260 for that question, and it's been almost a month since the interview, and we still haven't received it.

Also, is there a place where we can track the status of it?

Lastly, to track our green card, I need our IOE number. Does anyone know where I can find that?

Thanks!

Btw, my interview is on a Friday (02/20). How long til the package will be ready after the interview? Saturday and Sunday consulate is closed right? So, i lose two days, right? Asking cuz we are booking hotel from 02/18-02/26. Hopefully, we wont have to extend our stay. This whole trip is costing us over $1000 (flight+hotel alone).

Hi can someone help me for mumbai consulate visa proces i dont understand this creact account and stuff.

I just got my p4 letter yesterday and want to know what to do now. Medical i know have to take appointment and i arrange the documents for interview.but whatelse i have to do?

Hi,

Yes, you have to register at the website (www.ustraveldocs.com/in) BEFOREHAND and take an appointment for the biometric on some day before your interview date. This is mandatory, failure to which they will not entertain you at the consulate for interview. This place is also where you specify how you would like to collect your passport after interview and visa approval.

The biometrics can be done anywhere within India, but must proceed your interview.

I hope that helps.

all the best, my friend, our prayers are with you.

And you might not reach your goal right away. But if you do your best and keep a true compass, you'll get there. Edward M. Kennedy,
