I am so sorry!!!

Have you tried calling and asking to bring the checklist to the interview? Some countires allow it. Go over everything and double check to make sure nothing else. I had heard that NVC is only is to get three trys and anything beyond 3 checklist they are not allowed and the embassy will review.

I hope you don't have to wait for the taxes again. If you fix it and send it in right away that is before the tax filing deadline.

I will try calling today and see what they have to say but it seems that every time we connect with someone they are rude and not very helpful even after we wait forever and try talking nice with the reps. Thank you for the reply

Yes my mother will be joint sponsor and my father contributing household member, but I created a separate cover letter and list with their I-864. Should they all go together? It will all arrive in the same envelope, but if its better to have one cover letter for all the forms and documents, then I can do that too.

Since I already don't qualify as sponsor, do I still need to prove domicile? I mean we have proof of domicile for the joint sponsor, but I thought it was unnecessary for me as I am already out of the running as it were.

Yes, put them together, or you'll just confuse NVC and probably get a checklist for missing papers. Put one cover letter, all your papers, then all the joint sponsor's papers.

Doesn't matter if you qualify to sponsor or not, you still need to prove domicile, whether it's that you've maintained US domicile the entire time or the intent to re-establish it. As I mentioned, I have an extensive list on the wiki, as well as a letter to use. I'm not sure how strict they are at the consulate/embassy you're going through, but in Canada, it is the one thing they put a BIG focus on. Many people get put into AP at Montreal for not showing enough proof of domicile.

So, I am not able to type anything in the box I have circled below in the image (the one infront of Apt., Ste. and Flr.). Are you guys able to put the entire address in one line? How did you all go about it?

Confusion regarding I864 form question 12. (Military service question.) So, I understand the sponsor petitioner has to reply with a yes or no.

What about the joint sponsor? Should he leave it unchecked? Or should he check no as our joint sponsor is not in military?

Anybody help please.

Saylin I am counting on you for this. :)

Hmm, weird. I just tried as well with no luck. I thought maybe at first you needed to check apt/ste/flr first before the box activated, but nope. If the beneficiary lives in an apartment/suite/floor, just hand-write the number in after you print it out. Don't include it on the street address part.

What about if you checked apt or ste?

Sadly, my work computer doesn't have the latest Adobe Reader. And I need a dang admin password (which I don't have) to update anything on this computer :ranting:

Hi all. After reviewing all the documents I sent yesterday to NVC I realized I made a silly mistake on I-864EZ and put the wrong DOB for my husband (horrible wife I know :crying: ). I know I can resend this before I get a checklist, but do I just send in the I-864EZ and maybe a cover letter explaining?

I know some others have caught their mistakes early. Advice please? Thanks in advance!

2014 is finished so I was wondering how does the embassy look at current annual income expected for 2014? my last paystub from 2014 is the last paystub for my proof of employment. are they going to look at that to make sure the numbers match? reason asking is because I worked for a temp agency for 20 days of January and got hire on January 22 at the job im at now which is the last 6 months paystubs I am using, so I am including those 20 days of income in my current annual income or do I just use the number on my last paystub year to date? Im probably thinking to much into this but for 2014 I made whats on my year to date paystub and also what I made from the temp agency ..
