We can agree to disagree. For her to let him get the upper hand on her in the first place was poor training. She was completely unprepared for the situation.

It's the norm that should be changed. Police officers are not fighting terrorists overseas, they are in the U.S. fighting to protect American civilians who still have rights under the constitution of America.

You mean the same Constitution that allows these same citizens the right to keep and bear arms? You know, that thing called the Second Amendment that you're against?

She is going to cuff him and he turns around and punches her. She drops from the first punch and then he's on her and punches her 8 more times I think. Probably the worst part is that the guy does it in front of his young daughter.

I know you didn't say it but from the comments of others; I really don't think it is right to blame the cop on this. I don't think we would blame the victim in any other circumstance.

She was careless or wasn't properly trained. Even in the movies, you can watch how to basically have someone cuff themselves, but I also think she should have had her weapon drawn given that he was a wanted criminal. She also should have waited for backup, especially since he had a passenger. I'd be curious to hear a veteran cop's analysis because to me it looks like she didn't follow protocol which led to the assault and get-away.

Or better yet, how bout she has him at gunpoint and he jumps at her? Headlines read: White Cop Shoots Unarmed Black Man With Daughter By His Side Watching.

Yep. There would have been outrage!! Marches in the streets. People blocking traffic. Bldgs. being burned. 24/7 CNN coverage. More stupidity.
