Hi everyone! We just sent AOS packet (also for AP & EAD) to USCIS and they received it on 12/12, and I just got e-notification on 12/16!

(haven't received hard copy yet.)

I'm excited to hear about biometrics now, I hope it will go smooth!!

I put our check on the top of the packet and clipped the entire thing together with a binder clip. I did not place it in an envelope, although I don't see how that would cause any problems.

Ok. Thank you jennrg63 for your reply. One more question,

In your application, did your husband filed the I485 for you or you applied by yourself?

The reason why I am asking this is because my husband's part in the whole package was just the affidavit of support and his g325A. Did i do it right?

I filed I485 for myself and my husband's part in whole package was just the affidavit of support, his G325A and the support documents for it :)

That's great! Still, I didn't recieve any notification until today...

I'm just curious, did you all write I- 485 on top of the USPS box when you send your package to USCIS? Coz I did not. I just put from my name & address and to USCIS, Chicago Box, IL60680-4120.

Sorry for the late reply, I just checked with my husband and he said he only put our name & our address to USCIS like you did.

Have you gotten notification or the actual hard copies yet?

I just received the NOA1 hard copies (3 of them) last friday.

Seems like some people don't even receive the notification and just receive the hard copy so don't worry and relax, I hope you'll hear from them really soon!

Hey Everyone

Finally mailed AOS package on Dec 13, 2014  . Got text and emails on Dec 22, 2014. Got NOA1 in mail yesterday Dec 27,2014. Still nervous though as I can not recall if I signed my G-325a.

Do you think I should be worried? or is everything okay seeing that they sent me my receipt numbers and mentioned fingerprints to be done?

Hi!

I had my biometrics appointment last week. Does anyone know what happens next ? Is there a way to track this part of the process online?

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
