Why do some people get approved in less 20 days and wait for 153 days.....?

Give me a break. And no one on this forum is bringing their wives over, they're bringing their fiance(e) over. ;)

Hahahahaha you are right. We just need to be engaged to women from the Phillipines to get our automatic, expedited green card. Got you. I forgot, they don't even have to be married to get here quicker than women who have fiancés or husbands abroad.

The don't want the foreign men taking jobs from hard working American men. :content:

I can't imagine what you all are going through. Alhamdulillah, our case was expedited at USCIS so we did not have the long wait with them like most of you have. Even in the short time we have been waiting, I have been going crazy. I will pray for you all and Insha'Allah, you will reach the end of your visa journeys without much more delay.

In the meantime, if anyone has suggestions of things to do to kill time while waiting, I'd greatly appreciate them. The way things are going so far with the NVC, I feel like we may be here for a while, regardless of the expedite request.

Its only the petition approvals that get expedited, not the green card :)

TBoneTx and Janelle2002 are exactly correct in my opinion..,.,.

As for CSC, and TSC, Why, OH why, DOES USCIS not GIVE MORE WORK LOAD TO CSC..,.,.,.,even the work load out!

My wife and I suffered through VSC, and 186 days..,.,.,.,and Igor's List was with a very few days of being spot on! Monitor this site, it will be close.

And she is Filipino.,.,.,..,but NVC, was only 36 hours.,.,.,and gone to the embassy!

But, something needs to be done to the TSC work load, for sure, but WHAT do we do???

1. CSC is super fast, TSC is super slow.

2. There are a couple countries that get expedited, most notably the Phillipines due to last year's hurricane.

3. In special circumstances, a case can be expedited. I believe the only two instances are if the petitioner is miliary or if there is some health issue.

That's basically it.

TSC is horrible. Click my spoiler... I am married and it took 11 months and 6 days to get an approval. 2 months at NVC, another 6 weeks to the interview and now we are almost 3 months in for our waiver. BUT we did apply for an expedite and they tell me it was approved on OCT 15th so we are just waiting for NSC to approve our waiver. After the approval, the embassy told me it should only take 2 weeks or less depending on what my husband needs to bring with him.

SO we endured NBC, TSC, NVC and now NSC. This is a terrible process.

Funny thread, and of course there is just some piss poor luck that we have had with the latest. California past ours on at about 4 mo's to Texas whom I guess had to let it bake in the Sun for a while.

Lol. That made me laugh! I needed that. Thanks. Good luck to everyone on this journey.

I've also posted this forum las week...from what I understand Texas processes the east coast heavier populated states such as NY, FL..etc. common sense would say this system needs to be fixed bcause it really is not fair to many people....its like having two long lines and instead of moving people to the shorter line you keep them in the long one and you just stand there watching people who come in later leave before you all happy w their food while u still hungry ? system sucks point blank needs restructuring!

Well I personally think they should not be able to cash the check until they have completely processed the application, Im just saying payment recieved upon provided services... maybe then they wouldnt be so slow at TSC

Males marrying women ALWAYS goes quicker than women marrying men from abroad. They don't want American women importing their own husbands but it is okay for me to import their wives. :ranting::protest::ranting::protest:

I am US Citizen and my wife is from Abroad. It took 315 days for our NOA1 to get approved to NOA2. Thanks TSC
