Hi all. I had a NOA2 from CSC on Nov 24th and called this morning to news that my case has been received!!! (18 days)



They might have sent a batch from CSC so if you haven't heard maybe give them a call. Hope it's good news for others as well :dancing: GOOD LUCK!



They quoted me 30 days to get a case # which seems pretty on par for what others on VJ are experiencing.


USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Yeah RKD, I wouldn't be worried, seems like the documents you sent are ok.. If not you'll know soon. Like the others said, you can call then just to make sure all is fine. Good luck on the waiting...

That's great news!!! I'm a week behind you, so hopefully soon! Did your status on the uscis website ever change?

Nope nothing has changed on the USCIS website. I know that some have gotten an update of "shipped" but California may not. Just gotta keep calling NVC which sucks but right when they open has been the easiest for me.

The beneficiary is interviewed, not the petitioner. I don't think I've heard of someone going thru the process without the interview following a CC

Hi. I wanted to know something, does everyone applying for the I-130 for a spouse get an interview?

One of my friends applied for an I-130 for her husband and she said that they didnt ask or give her an interview. I'm confused

This is my 2nd. time in 12 years and Everyone gets an interview as far as I know... But I can say this much... Before the interview if all is in order and your medical is completed by one of the doctors on their list and NO positive TB results.. the decision is already made before they get to the interview .. It is just a formality.. But unless your friend has ....

Connections with USCIS then there was an interview.. I am 99% sure...

An I-130 is a petition form that is filed, not something that is applied for.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

We are so happy we got I 130 approved within 15 days 1st we didnt believe that was shocked I don't know how it happend but it's true !

We never expected that fast thanks ALLAH

Weeeee, woke up this morning to an email stating my i-130 was approved 23 Dec. Happy holidays!

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)
