She also told me this may not help me and that we may be back in line. Lord help us!

September thread is closed, responding here:

Thank you and I did make a prayer for everyone to be united with their spouses soon. About the wait, I think it is the longest than anyone waiting now, but it has come to an end except now the wait for an interview.

Thank you!

Thank you too.

Congratulations

Hi all, it's my seventh NVC month..haha it's too long!

My IV scan date is Aug 21, but we had not noticed the AOS checklist for a month and now we are very sad!

The operator Nickie told me there is no error on our I-864ez form, but the checklist says as below..

Part 5 sponsor's income and employment

My husband's income indicated on the I-864EZ Part 19 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax rerurn.

He has called NVC again and again but never be able to connect. I can contact NVC easily because of the time differences between here in Tokyo and NVC, but the operators are always rude and each of them told me different answers.

My husband changed his job from last year, and so his income ammount on 2013 tax rerurn and his present income at new company are not the same.

But according to the checklist, these two ammount of income should be the exact same?

Please someone help us..my husband really doesn't know what to input.

Checking in for my 6th NVC thread :(

We've been stuck at the NVC since May and we are now waiting for our AOS checklist to be reviewed. New AOS scan date is September 23. We would have been CC if not for the error of our incompetent attorney that used adjusted gross income and not total income on the AOS. Everything else (IV package, 260, etc) was accepted. Small error, huge price to pay.

Word to the wise for everyone. Ensure your documents are correct. Don't trust your attorney. It is a two month penalty for any mistakes.

Part 18 is where your husband reports what he thinks he will earn THIS YEAR.

Part 19 you must report income from your 2013 Tax Return

If your husband filed form 1040 use line 22, Total Income

If your husband filed form 1040A use line 15, Total Income

If your husband filed form 1040EZ use line 4, Adjust Gross Income

Do you find that the wait is shorter or the attention is better with using the Spanish service? I speak both languages but I always choose English because it's my first language and I assume there are more English-speaking operators.

At about 40 minutes of being on hold, I'm starting to play with the idea!

I haven't try the English speaking operators so I couldn't tell you if the attention is better but I had a good experience so far with the Spanish speaking ones but there was that I just fell rush off the phone. The wait is a lot less early morning but night time is horrible, won't call again during the night. This guy Mario that I spoke too this morning was nice but honestly I think he was new at the job he sounded kind off scare and not sure of what he was telling me.

I'm terrified off this happening to me.. I have an attorney also but have no faith in this lady what so ever, I had too fix few errors myself that she had made on the forms such as misspell name, hubby's dob ect ect but when it come to numbers and w-2 I'm a mess with that and honestly don't know if the AOS is correct enough to avoid a checklist. My scan date is 8/8 so anytime now I should hear something ? a small mistake will mean Xmas, New Years and Anniversary with out my hubby.. ?
