How long are checklists currently taking to be reviewed? Ive been at the NVC since April :S Had 3 not true checklists bc NVC simply keeps loosing docs. My husband resent his I864 just to be on the safe side and the last "checkLOST" date is Oct15th-IV scan date is Aug18th.

And we waited 67 days for the IV fee to be invoiced.

Finally case closed!

My IV scan date was Aug 21, and AOS checklist scan date was Oct 2 because we didn't notice the checklist email which was sent on Aug 29.

I noticed my AOS fee status changed from paid ti n/a and so I called NVC to check my case.

She said my case is closed on Oct 20. So it didn't take for 60days, it took only for 18days.

I was at NVC stage from April..now I am so happy.

Thank you so so much everybody!

Thank you for clearing that up. That's what I thought and did. But it is amazing how much misinformation is out there and how many people told me, no you have to send the petitioners divorce decree as well. I did not because that's not how I read it

Are you referring to the IV package? If so, yes, that package is about the beneficiary. The only time petitioner documents are required is for IR-5 visa applicants, as it states on NVC's website.

called nvc to confirm that they got my package which they did (oct 6th)

but they said they only see one document. Since I sent them both together (according to new process), i guess that would make sense? I just dont want them to lose my documents -__-

Anyone who sent both packages together got the same answer, that only one document was scanned into the system?

Line 22 is adjust gross income ONLY for Form 1040A, Line 22 for Form 1040 is Total Income (which is the correct amount).

Let's clear up this confusion

for Form 1040: Use line 22 (Total Income)

for Form 1040A: Use line 15 (Total Income)

for Form 1040EZ: Use line 4 (Adjusted Gross Income)

This is correct

CASE COMPLETE!

The scan dates are a bit funny because I re-sent the AOS package after noticing the Total Income/AGI mistake.

Original AOS scan date: 12 August 2014

IV scan date: 27 August 2014

Re-submitted AOS scan date: 11 September 2014 (received 60-day letter)

I'm not sure which they used, but it doesn't matter anymore!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE, especially to Saylin and the other veterans of these forums who have offered their help and support. I will definitely stick around to help answer questions and give advice as requested.

My advice: Be meticulous about everything you submit! Keep a positive attitude and get away from these forums once in a while because they will start to stress you out!

Good luck to everyone!

Amazing!!! Congratulations you guys! They really must be reviewing some packages by the first scan date which is great for those moving forward!

Can't wait to read your review of the consulate! Keep us posted about how long it takes to get your interview date!

Woohooooo!!!

I send both in one package with AOS scan receipt... They will only scan it once showing they received all the documents you send...
