Submitting documents to NVC as 'ONE package'

If the aos has been submitted already and waiting for the iv to be invoiced.Can one submit the iv documents before the invoice in order to save time? Pls i need some advise.

I dont think so because you get another cover sheet with a barcode after you pay the IV fees.We just paid ours (took about 30 days after AOS fees were paid to get the IV fees option) and did the D260 and now we will send in the civil documents (already sent in the AOS under the "old" system apparently)

The "Document Cover Sheet" I was sent from NVC is new I'm assuming.

I am going to send the AOS and IV packets at the same time even though I've only paid the AOS online as the IV was not available to pay yet.

At least one of my friends here has done the same thing and there hasn't been any problem as of yet.

Is the "Document Cover Sheet" new?

I'll be curious to see how this pans out, as my applications also went through right at the change of policy. I've paid the AOS, but would really prefer not to wait a month or more to send IV just to wait for them to bill me.

That's why I constantly check and read what's on travel.state.gov as well as forums...the best that we did was call NVC to verify and they confirmed that ONE package is the new policy. =) I would suggest calling NVC to check if it's okay to send your IV packet ahead even before it's invoiced. Better sure than sorry.

Will this cause problem for our case, hubby already sent the AOS package to NVC while Im waiting for the IV fee so we can pay and send the civil documents. Does this mean, we have to send again another AOS package along with my civil documents once IV is invoiced and paid?

I called nvc three times on whether to submit the iv package while waiting for iv bill to be invoiced. The operator told me that they recommend applicants to now send the iv package ahead of time because it takes 60 days to review the documents.

On my understanding I believe the 60days starts to count on the day nvc receives both the oas and iv package. On my opinion I think waiting for 30days to pay iv fees and then submit iv package puts someone on 60days documents review waiting time which will start from the day iv package is been received.
