Oh, update to my package: several of the documents I sent, they were unable to open (I had modified some PDFs with a 3rd-party app to add my case number). I resent the original files (without case number) and haven't heard anything back, so I assume they're OK.

They had issues with files from both emails, so they didn't seem to have a problem with receiving two emails. In each one, I mentioned that I was sending the other one, and every file had the proper case number and name etc. filename,

The day after I re-sent the documents, I received the emailed receipt for the DS-260.

Mrs. CndnMade, the NVC's spam filter may reject messages that have a lot of links.

I was thinking of number code so when they download all the docs from the email it will be sorted as it is on the cover sheet like this:

001 Document Cover Sheet
002 Affidavit of Support Petitioner
003 Affidavit of Support Joint Sponsor

004 IRS Tax Transcript
005 Evidence of income (Since we live in Canada we don't really need this)
006 Proof of relationship
007 Proof of U.S. status

.

.

.

.

and if any of these have subcategory I will do like for Intention to Establish Domicile:

008-1 Establish Domicile - Moving Quote 1

008-2 Establish Domicile - Moving Quote 2

008-3 Establish Domicile - Voter Registration

.

.

.

Hopefully that helps or if there is any problem with it please let me know so I know what to do.

Thank you.

Hi Ariaeeb,

I also wanted to use a similar file naming convention to keep things organized. I was wondering if you named your documents according to your post and sent it to NVC?

How long did it take for you to hear back from NVC and were there any problems with the document naming?

Thanks.

Help please,

I need some advice on how to exactly send the package to nvc. I was thinking of sorting the papers as written on their document cover sheet, but do i need to separate them somehow? For example, they ask for proof of relationship, do i need to put pictures in between 2 plane papers and write on top: Proof of relationship, and similar? Or I just put pappers one on another and place document cover sheet on top and send it like this?

Hello!

Can I ask a question related to sending all documents to NVC?

I am living in Vietnam. My case number starts with HCM.

Can I send email to NVC all of my documents or I have to mail all documents to NVC?

Thanks

Check this NVC webpage for the list of countries and case number prefixes that must or can send the documents to NVC electronically.

It looks like case numbers starting with 'HCM' CANNOT file electronically and MUST file through mail.

Hope this helps.
