I called USCIS today since its been 5 1/2 months I submitted my K-1 for my fiance in Dominican Republic and they informed me that the current date they are processing is "February 2nd, 2014". Which I know is bullsh*t because people that have filed after that date have been getting approvals left and right. I'm so pissed and so tired of waiting!!!!!! :'(

They were just telling you what's on the website. The february 2nd date is as of July 31st, so they're bound to be working on February and March applications now.

Is that good or bad?

Not good or bad . Its just that you didn't provide all the necessary information. They are in need of more proof in order to continue to process your case. Don't get discouraged, simply follow directions top to bottom.

At least you know someone is actually working your case. Usually after you respond they will give an answer fairly quick. Good luck!

Indeed. We got our NOA2 8 days after we sent out the response to the RFE. Just follow the instructions in the letter you'll receive by mail, and you should be fine and hear something soon :)

Our NOA1 was Feb 26th and we are still waiting for a change. My fiance called 2 weeks ago and was told they were still working on December applications. If that were true, that would put our wait at about 8 months.

28 weeks and counting...
