Hey everyone,

I just realized that on my AOS, on part 6,13a I put my joint sponsors 2013 total income but I left 13b and 13c blank which is for second most recent and third most recent tax years. do u think I will get a checklist for that or am I fine?

by the way I filled out I-864

thanks!!

USCIS sent me an email saying they shipped it on 8/29/14 (NOA2 8/18/14 I was at NSC).

NVC still has not received my case (so they say). {sigh} . . . . we just have to keep waiting. :clock: Once they "receive" the case (meaning they put it in their system), I think it's taking 2 weeks for them to assign a case # but some members have waited a month or more to get a case number. NVC told me that it takes up to 5 weeks from NOA2 date for them to receive a case from USCIS. Just fyi....although I have seen some members who have a "received date" way before the 5 weeks are up. Just keep praying they scan it in soon and assign a case # quickly!

Sorry to hear that NVC still has not recieved your case. It is taking too long it seems. But you have already waited long,so soon they will recieve your case.

God knows at which pace CSC works. The waiting continues. :clock:

Hello...need some help.

On my AOS, part 6 Sponsor;s income and employment, Question 5:

I started working from aug 27th 2014. I was unemployed before that. So what should I put as current annual income in question 5? For entire year or what will I make for the rest of the year beginning from 27th August? Thank you.

If ur spouse is far distant relative to u? Is it Ok to say it in the interview?

For starters, you should always answer any question at the interview truthfully.

How they treat this particular information probably depends on the local customs of the country you're from as well as how "distant" the relation is. I suspect you would get a better answer to this question in your regional forum.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Method 3: Mail processing

If neither Method 1: Email processing nor Method 2: Choice of processing applies to your case, mail your financial forms and evidence, supporting documents, translations, and photocopies, with the Document Cover Sheet included with your NVC Welcome Letter, to the following address:

National Visa Center

Attn: DR

31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

I think i have to prepare a document cover sheet by printing all the documents according to order right?

But what is the NVC welcome letter?

Ugh...3 weeks to receive the case then 2 weeks to actually scan it. I'm gonna try not to think about it till Monday - When NVC was firing on all engines it looks like they were receiving and creating the IIN date quick - I'm thinking they may have got backed up due to the USCIS expediting the files abroad (which means I may have been a culprit)- or they are just incredibly incompetent to keep a steady pace of reviews

That's because all the rowdy crowd have moved to http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/513879-the-nvc-moral-supportranting-thread/page-1 after many complains of noise.

You're the second VJ member who got this empty expedite. The other member is Ochyzh. Contact him/her and see if they found a way to force a real expedite.

I hope it wasn't an empty expedite as Ochyzh and mjardine have received. You three should compare notes and strategies.

My email from NVC said :

The U.S. Embassy has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy. Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy.

Guys, I am really panicking

I have something really weird.

AOS checklist accepted today. Received a false checklist for Singapore Clearance Certificate which they already have and was scanned 29th Aug.

Just re-read this false checklist where it basically copies the instructions from the Singapore Police to get the Certificate. It is actually out of date anyway as they do not send to NVC anymore but to me at home which is exactly what happened.

At the very bottom of these instructions is the following

10 - Singapore Police Certificate - The Police Certificate that you have submitted does not fulfill the necessary requirements.

However, they haven't even looked at this Certificate yet. I am really panicking and feel physically sick. Anybody seen this before.

The Certificate I sent to them is exactly what they have asked for.

Help!!!

Hello everyone, I sent my both IV and AOS package together on 27th August. I called NVC to get confirmed. They told me that our package has been received on 29th August. But i didn't get any hard copy of that. I have attorney with my case. So do i need to call NVC for hard copy or it is normal if i don't get any hard copy. Plus how do i know whether they are completed with my case or not.

Thank you in advance.

Am I supposed to get an email notification from USCIS when they ship my petition to NVC?

Yes, you do if you sign up for email notifications.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.

4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?

I am third who have got this one.
Husband called to US Embassy. They answer: "We cannot help. It is only NVC decides". He called to NVC earlier several times about it. They answer: "We cannot help. It is only US Embassy decides." So we are waiting as all. Meanwhile, Russian terrorists are closer to the exit from the Crimea through which we need to get to the US Embassy in Kiev. My ex-husband refuses to go to these (and through these) war zone to write a notary permission our daughter to visit the United States.
