just found out why we had so many updates on the CEAC.. The USCIS was communicating with the embassy. Embassy=CEAC

Case is with an adjudicator as I type... So nervous.. I really need something good !!!

The reason its taking so long is that there was a issue that had to be resolved first. ( I have no idea what that could be) They didn't know that when the expedite was approved.

I have been with my husband for 4.5 years. Its hard to read about couples who met online and only ever met once or twice in person and get approved instantly.. We are 100% together and always have been. We have to jump through hoops to get this approval. and the people who file waivers with tons of complex issues and they get approved no problem. Ours is a real relationship and he only has a simple overstay. This is so frustrating... I thank God everyday that he is my husband, but it would be great if I actually got to be with him .

Sorry for ranting.. I am feeling depressed today :(

I understand your frustration. This is the perfect place to rant and get it out because everyone here knows the feeling exactly. I try to talk to my friends and co-workers about it but they don't fully understand the toll this takes on a person. Today I am especially going crazy about all this.

It is also frustrating that I have literally witnessed a couple getting married just to get the girl a green card (plans to split after she becomes a citizen) and their paperwork went through without any issues. We had to file a waiver because of a vandalism charge my wife got 15 years ago when she was 16! Not one single incident since then, not even a parking ticket. She was even charged as a minor. But, since the charge was for 2 incidents of vandalism they denied her. Our attorney says it was an error on the consulate's part for denying her, that she was admissable from the beginning (a lot of legal jargon surrounding the court case, I will take my attorney's word for it). All this hassle only because of one error that we didn't even cause...... There, now you aren't the only one ranting lol.

That's what I thought...darn, another $225 again. I do not mind paying as long as they move a little faster on processing. Thanks again for the infos...

yep, at this point, my husband will have to get another medical. He would have to fly before Dec 17th and it doesn't look like that will happen.

Yep, nobody understands unless they are going through it or went through it. I also know people who married only for a green card and it went through without one issue. I lead the most boring life.. I have never been in trouble and my husband is exactly the same. NON-risk takers HA HA.. he overstayed his B2 visa.. Came here LEGALLY and left on his own. Hard to watch the new executive action that benefits those who broke the law and entered illegally and are still here. UGHHHHHHH

So, I've been out of work since July. I have 2 unemployment payments left and then I am out of luck. I haven't had any luck finding anything.. I have a job interview this afternoon. The job is far away and pays less than my old job. If offered, I have to take it. I am in panic mode. I don't have any savings.. its all gone... and my mortgage is $1400/month. I am really depressed. I thought the expedite would ease some of this. My husband is dying to contribute but he has to get approved first.

I haven't been able to buy any gifts for my kids . Christmas is going to be sad this year. I feel so bad.

Hubby went for interview in Montreal in January 2014

Sent 601 package March 2014

after Almost 7 months of waiting I called USCIS and was told that no one has been assigned to my case!!!

That's when EVERYTHING started moving really fast:

RFE sent October 2014 ( to send in 212 as well) a couple of weeks later...

Approved November 2014.

1 week later Montreal sends letter for us to send passport, new police report, new Medical, and new affidavit

Waiting on Police report to arrive to send immediately.

No,it just means the uscis was communicating with the embassy and the embassy was updating our file. I was told my case is with an adjudicator but that has nothing to do with the ceac.
