Hey guys! Just updating y'all. I got a text today morning and when I checked my case status online, my interview has been scheduled for 23rd march...All Praise to Lord! After being in scheduling and testing since 5 months, i finally heard back. Now time to get ready for the interview and hopefully everything sails smoothly from then on...

P.S. my local office long island was still processing cases from April 30th since December 31st, so I did not expect to hear back until April. Therefore cas processing isnt totally accurate, those of you still waiting, hold on...you might hear good news too!!

Hi everyone !!!

I have been watching this forum for about six months, we filed AOS back on August 05, last week we received and email and our interview will be on March 18, interview will be held at Miami office, as of December 31 they are processing March 20 2014, like mayness said, that information is not accurate . The web update when from fingerprint fee to scheduled appointment !!

Good luck to you all !!!

Congratulations to you both on upcoming interviews. I recently checked our USCIS updates and they have received Johan's fingerprint fee! ;)

haha No. I was joking. It's said "finger print fee recieved as of August 15th..." blah blah blah for MONTHS. Interestingly enough, our K2's status is "acceptance" as of August 6th, AND he also got the NPIW letter, whereas Johan did not. I was under the impression that K2's status is dependent on K1's. It doesn't seem to be the case AT ALL with us. I cling to the unrealistic hope that since there is no NPIW letter to Johan, that means we'll still get an interview, sooner rather than later. I have asked several times in several different threads if anyone has this same experience, and what happened, but it seems we're alone in our wacky situation. I'll be sure to update our experience as it unfolds though. I'm sure we won't always be the only people whose situation makes it look like our K2 is the primary applicant.

it sure feels like it can!:ranting:

PS: I just looked at your timeline. Even though we sent our AOS application a week earlier than you did, your husband has his GC about 9 months before mine will. Lucky you didn't get the NPIW letter. That makes it much closer to forever than you know! ;) (this may be coming off as bitterness toward you. it's not. I'm happy for you guys. truly. I just wish that USCIS was consistent!! that'd sure be nice!)

Only bitterness I sense is towards USCIS and they deserve it! I'm sorry it has taken soooo long for your guys!! Fingers cross that you guys get yours soon too! Yes, I've read that people who got interview waivers are like being in limbo..sucks!

Had my interview today and was approved on the spot. Interview was scheduled at 1:50pm and we arrived right on time. There weren't many people and we were interviewed last close to 3pm. The officer was nice but also very thorough and interview lasted close to an hour. First he asked for ID's and my passport taking I-94 out before swearing us in. He really wanted to make sure my marriage was legit and asked many questions. Good thing I was super prepared and was bombarding him with all evidence I had in this world even before he asked for it. I wasn't ready to give him any benefit of doubt. We went through all biographic questions on I-485 and he would tick it with a red pen whenever I answered, verify it on the application form and also write down my verbal answers. Asked about my work and how long I'd worked there. Went through my passport asked to verify date of entry including airport. Asked for wedding pictures and I showed him entire album since I'd been dating till marriage even specifying exact events on pictures including people. He really loved our wedding pictures and also asked to see maid of honor on it and best man. Man this guy was like a badger digging through every evidence even though I showed him ultrasound pictures of my pregnant wife. He asked her how many months she's pregnant as well and congratulated her. My wife was mostly quiet talked only twice during the whole ordeal and I was the one taking the heat. My wife joked with him being the last one's interviewed how he must be ready to go home and he jokingly said no problem that he has the whole day to spend with us. He asked about first date, how relationship progressed, when I proposed, when my wife moved in with me and also wedding date. Asked to see lease, if place is rented or owned and how much. Asked where and when I bought the rings. I told him and showed him certificate of appraisal from shane co jeweler. I explained everything and he kept writing things answers comparing some with answers on petitions. I was pumping him with infos till he even asked me to slow down at one point. Rounded up with security questions on I-485 and he was satisfied and said it's a good marriage that he's gonna approve it. At that point I put my hands together and said thank you God. I just couldn't hide my relieve. Asked for a stamp since I'm leaving home next week for the 1st time in 10 years he asked why and I told him to see ailing grand parents and I showed him flight itinerary. He checked it said it was authentic and stamped passport. 30 mins after got texts saying I-485 has been changed to card/document production. Bottom line is if your marriage is real and you know details of it you should be fine, your interview might be short or long but you'll be fine. I'd been prepared for this showdown for 10 years now and had all meticulous details of my relationship in check. For those of you who are still waiting for your interviews the most important thing I also learnt today is PLEASE know EVERY detail on your I-485 and I-130 forms you sent because many of those questions will be springing from those tiny dates and details on them and they'll be compared with what you initially wrote and that's where the land mines are. Good luck all you August V'jers and see you all in removal of conditions in a few years when we all meet again!

We received our letter with the interview schedule the other day, for April 15. Pfuu finally!!!! :). We are happy and also a little bit stressed. Until now it was just the wait for the schedule but now that the interview is there it doesn't seems real at all. I have the filling that the days are shorter and shorter ...OMG I might go crazy till the interview :-s

Anyway, for dose who had the interview, and came on a k1 and had their medical examination and vaccination already in their country, did you had to do another set of medical examination here in US for the USCIS?

On our notice for the interview it says that we should bring a medical examination and vaccination supplement(it dose says unless already submitted, BUT WE NEVER SUBMITTED ANYTHING WILE I'M IN US).

I remember that I had a medical examination before I came to US and before the interview at the embassy, in my country. I think I had a kidney scan, psychological examination, eyes exam and some other exams I don't really remember. I took all the medical exams from the doctor to the embassy sealed in an envelop and gave it to the person that interviewed me and he gave me another envelop with all my paper that I had to give it to the person with the immigration at the airport when I entered US. They (at the airport) took all my papers and said that they are going to send everything to USCIS. So I guess my medical exams are at the USCIS but how can I be sure? Should I call? Do I need another set of medical exams from here? .....

Pfuu..

Help!

And thank you all for the infos!!!
