Am so sorry for the checklist, please send in the checklist as soon as possible so that it can be scanned in and reviewed soonest. You are in my prayers and am seriously hoping you get thru this process as soon as possible. Don't worry we are here for you and will always hang around.

Thanks EOC. Now it's finally started to sink in that I actually got a checklist. I feel so numb. Barely slept last night. Sending u a big hug back. Maybe miraculously they will review our checklist faster. That's only what I can pray for how.

If you wanna do it the fast way .. go prepare the papers right now .. call the nvc .. and ask them on the phone what items exactly need to to change and to what .. one point and one section at a time

then send it express mail today .. this will save you few precious waiting days in the end .. an earlier scanned date is always better

Sigh. Australia Post tell me that the package of AOS joint sponsor documents sent from USA to us is lost I don't know what to do.. wait a few more days or parents in law to send again.. Why even have such a service as tracked express courier post? Cranky+++ about this. Oh well. Not much we can do I suppose

Oh no! There is nothing quite as frustrating as lost mail. Like, where does it go???!!! Get them to resend ASAP just in case. Hopefully they made copies of everything so they don't have to start from scratch filling out again. Wishing you luck that it turns up ASAP!

I think it's pretty good indication. I haven't heard any reports of someone getting N/A on the AOS fee without CC. Wishing you luck and call as soon as they open and report back!!!

She actually did tell me but I don't understand what's wrong with our hoisehold size. Maybe something is wrong with sponsor's household and not ours. That's y I m waiting for the email. Plus it's my brother in laws wedding on Friday. So husband's house is full of guests and festives are going on. So I don't think he would be able to prepare it before weekend anyways. And I can't bring myself to ask him to this news killed all his happiness. I wish we had known on Monday or Tuesday so we would have saved a week. Edited August 29, 2014 by samreen23

Last night I realized I didn't print out the DS-260 confirmation page so I hunted for it and only saw the DS-261 I called NVC and the lady weird name said to go to payment page (which I had) and it would be there. I told her the only one I see was DS-261 but she insisted. I went back and nothing so I decided to click on the IV and went from one page to the next until I got to the end and sure enough you can print it out or send via e-mail. So I sent one to my husband and one to myself and it arrived promptly which doesn't usually happen. Just now I open my e-mail and there is another one but looks totally different than the one they sent me last night. Looks like the one below what do you think? Just a duplicate? The face of the one I requested they send me only had a few words in the body this one had all the below.

I just finished cleaning the whole house, sweeping, mopping, doors walls and I still have more to do. I wish they had a house that washed itself hhahahahaa just put detergent in, step out and wait 30 minutes.

I had a similar situation. NVC claims my 2013 tax documents were missing from my AOS package. My attorney claims she included them.

NVC gave me two choices:

1- Request a supervisor review and wait 30 business days for them to have another look for the missing tax documents.

2- Send another copy of the requested document and wait 30 business days for that to be reviewed.

I went with option 2. This time I sealed and sent the package myself. I'm afraid you're just gonna have to resend the document they asked for and wait for one more complete review cycle.

Bummer about the price raises next month... Although, the IV fee will still be cheaper than when I went through. It used to be $404

There was one reduction at least. I-140 based petitions went down from $405 to $345. Too bad I can't get a 6x $60 refund. Can I claim a loss on my 2014 tax return?

AOS checklist... For 2013 taxes and missing N/A's in the sponsor section. Oy... I'm pretty sure the taxes were included, but if not I will have to have a serious talk with my spouse But the good news is that they picked up our file at last. Scan date July 10th.

Now, I'm freaking out about my IV package. I was under the impression that apostille stamps were not necessary for birth certificates, or equivalents. Mine was issued by the appropriate authority and has a stamp on it to prove it. People applying for K-1's have apparently submitted the same document at their interview and it was fine, but this is the NVC so anything that usually is fine is probably a problem....

Sorry to hear I wasn't the only one to get a checklist! Hang in there, we'll get through it
