Just got off the phone with Supervisor Octavio# He has pulled my file and reviewed my information and everything is in order and

kicking%23gifkicking%23gifCASE COMPLETE!!!!!! kicking%23gifkicking%23gif

Last document scanned 20th June #yes June!# and it was reviewed and filed without the reviewer sending either a checklist or completing the case#

But, now thankfully Octavio has completed our case and we are now waiting for our interview#

Thank you everyone for your support, and for listening to me complain for the past few months# Love you all!!! heart%23gifheart%23gifheart%23gif

Great! Does that mean you'll have enough time for a POE before Christmas?

Help please my brother offered to help out with the AOS packet and is married and filed jointly they also have a dependent child, ok here it is his wife doesn't get along with my family at all and will never help me out# My brother was going to do it on the down low and well I am very worried she has to sign anything at all can someone clarify ClockWatch2%23gif

Signing on to an AOS package is a major financial risk taking. I'll be surprised (and frankly, dismayed) if your sister-in-law's signature is not required.

What do I need for the interview besides pictures?

You remind me of some of my students... showing up to my Advanced Math class with nothing but their smart phones!!

I'm bringing a 6-inch stack of documents to my interview... basically copies of everything submitted already and as much new/updated evidence as I can find.

Spoke to a lovely lady today named Amanda who informed me that the ds-261 forms received July 9th like me, seemed to have been skipped in the review process.

HI All,

I have a weird question, don't even know if anybody has encountered a similar issue. I just found out that there is a mistake in my marriage certificate. It has the wrong place of birth of my spouse. Do you think it will be a issue when reviewed by NVC officer? what should I do to be proactive about it?

So has anybody gotten their documents reviewed under 60 days? And I hope it's not 60 business day OMG! It's like 30 "business days" weren't enough to review your documents each time you send them to NVC but come on! In the letter they said :

"We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience."

Just got off the phone with Nvc operator super duper nice old lady (didn't catch her name) .

I called because my wife goofed up on her most recent employment question on ds 260. Wrong address :wow: wrong phone number :wow:

I tolled the lady my concern and she tolled me not to worry and when she has her interview just to mention it and they will fix it. ouuuuffffffffffff :dancing:

Then i asked if she can see my daughters case concerning her AOS ( i was afraid , due to the most checklists on AOS packet) . She gladly looked and tolled me it was reviewed and ACCEPTED today!! :dancing: :crying: :dancing: . I was so worried and anxious about the AOS (I (864 EZ) . 33 business days to be reviewed.

The lady even informed me that i will receive a false checklist and to disregard it . I said yeah , Saylin tolled us not worry   She was like huh ?????? I explained to her about Saylin's wiki and VJ and she laughed ....

I have had a big day today.

Original Birth Certificate arrived yesterday. Called NVC today just to see if they may have looked at our AOS checklist but of course they haven't. As an afterthought I asked if the Supervisor Review had been done on my Adoption Certificate. Oh yes they said, it was done on August 20th and it has been found to be acceptable so after all my work I don't need to send them the original. Confirmed this three times with them and then called back to speak to another operator just to double check. Sure enough it has been removed from the Checklist.

Then an hour later my Singapore Certificate arrived. I went into a frenzy - copied it, completed the Checklist pack, drove out to Adelaide Airport to Fed Ex and off went my package. $90.00 later they said it would be at NVC on Wednesday morning, US time. If they can scan it in by Friday - I know I am being optimistic! - we can get the clock ticking and wait for a CC. I feel quite relieved that I don't have to wait for anything else in the mail.

I so hope we can be there for Christmas.

So glad you're getting some movement! Awesome!

I know how you feel, it's in our mind all the time, can't shake the speculating, wondering etc. I don't know how I managed it, but while waiting for the visa I have written my Master's thesis and am now starting my PhD. I wonder if that'll be half way done before we get the visa  But at least the writing (and working full time) has kept me occupied and hence somewhat sane.

Wow, what a great way to pass the time... Congrats on the masters!

Please someone help me under stand the following message from the ceac website

U.S. Department of StateIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION

Ready

Case Creation Date: 27-May-2014 Status Updated Date: 25-Aug-2014

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:

Woo hoo! You're through NVC!

You're smart since you waited for a CC while taking a road trip (rather than sitting in front of a computer and checking the CEAC site 50 times a day)!

We'll have to get together again in Vancouver before you leave for the US (since your case is moving faster than mine). :star:

Yes, it turned out to be a good plan! And I'd love to get together again this fall... We'll be around for awhile after my interview finishing stuff up!

Just got off the phone with Supervisor Octavio. He has pulled my file and reviewed my information and everything is in order and
