letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

The National Visa Center received your DS-260 form. We are waiting for the traveling applicants

supporting civil documents to be submitted to the NVC. Your online Immigrant Visa Application will be

reviewed upon receipt of your supporting documentation.

That was the same email I got when my AOS was accepted, NVC rep told me to disregard the email, she said my AOS is fine and accepted. You should call NVC on Monday.

If I could do it all over again, he would have stayed and we would have adjusted status and risked it.

If I could do it all over again, I would have moved to the UK and filed DCF in London. I cannot believe I had a chance to bypass USCIS and NVC and did not take it... on the advice of my attorney. Doh!

Well, I just had no clue, I've been waiting so long this just doesn't feel right but I'll take it. Boy now wouldn't that be somping! GROUP HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

What would I not give to get the same feeling!! only if joint sponsor had given their w2 and 1099 I would have Been soo relaxed. Now it's just butterflies when I think about AOS! But I m sooooooo happy for u!!!! :D

WOW I'm in shock hope nothings wrong with our AOS I've seen that people have to take stuff to the Embassy and the Cairo one is horrible they don't accept anything for the most part.

Hahahaha I sent copies of all the documents to the Embassy in Cairo to have them check if it's what they wanted they said yes so I sent a copy of the e-mail with each document hahahaa should take them five seconds to ok it if they are on the up and up.

OMG if your case isn't expeditable then what the heck is! There is something very wrong here just doesn't make sense that you aren't already with your husband while others get expedited just because they live with their spouse. I'm so very sorry and I pray you and your daughter will be safe until this madness ends and your go home to your husband.

So I am finally done reading all 117 pages of this thread, phew! I want to share where I am at with NVC. We had a lawyer and both fees were invoiced August 1, paid August 2. Fees showed as paid on August 5 and August 6 we sent AOS and IV package and submitted DS-260. Documents were delivered August 7 and I can't believe myself that the next step is case complete (if hopefully no checklist). I was stuck at USCIS for a year and 4 months between USCIS and NVC. Ever since NVC received our case on July 1, in the 1.5 months I have had more activity on my case than the entire time at USCIS. From the posts I gather it will take less than 60 days now for case complete. I am not bothered waiting that time, I have already waited so much.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that means they accepted your DS260, not necessarily your AOS package.

I'm June 26 and feeling your pain. I spoke to a guy (didn't catch his name) on Thursday night (our time) and he gave me the 60 days story. I then spoke to supervisor Betsy and told her that I have seen approvals after my date and she insisted that that doesn't happen and they work on first in first out with their mail. She refused to acknowledge that it was happening, when clearly on VJ we can see that it is.
Next week will be our week xx (I have been saying that for the past 14 months, but really! Next week is our week! )

Guys, I feel so much of your pain too... I have expedite approved in April and still waiting for CC, all this process is total BS, I am mad, upset, frustrated...

I finally got my IV invoice email today! It's not available to pay online yet, but the letter was dated August 4th, so I hope it will be available by tomorrow. So happy <3 46 business days though, lol

My i130 was approved on July 8 and NVC received my file on July 17. I received my Case # on Aug 6 and paid the AOS fee and now trying to gather documents for AOS package.

After been on Visa Journey for a while, I realized that I don't need my attorney anymore as keeping him is nothing but delaying our case further.

VJ members are more knowledgeable than him.

I have a question regarding i864 form, actually I have more questions but I don't want to through all of them at once.

My wife did not work last year after our marriage and I support her financially. Since she has no income I have completed one from I-864 for her and I have a co-sponsor as my father-in-law but he file taxes jointly with his wife. Do I have to fill out I-864 for my father-in-law and I-864A for my mother-in-law? BTW she doesn't work.

He can include W2's with his tax transcripts to prove it is all his income so that she does not need to provide one.

Thank you, they made a mistake then they asked for me to send it for all when I called. But then they make mistakes all the time.

They do and we pay for them.

I just received a false checklist that they received our IV packet and was asking to send the AOS packet but we already sent that. IV was scanned June 26. AOS was scanned July 17. I guess it was a good news will confirm if they accepted our IV. 31 business days to be exact.

Please no checklist for AOS.. Please
