I hate hate hate my disability. I want to go back to school but they are useless here for help and I know my limits, so that leaves me with nothing I can do. My college credits from Canada would eliminate my need to do many things over again but they wont take them as they are too old. :girlwerewolf2xn: I cannot go through what I did the first time around.

ok pity party over for a bit...

You need to come to the magical land of metformin. Aaaahhh metformin. I don't have PCOS, but apparently I've given myself insulin resistance.

Have you tried soba/buckwheat noodles? Totally good for PCOS and IR.

I'm actually on Berberine at the moment :) it's a natural Metformin alternative which doesn't give the same bad side effects or interfere with my other medication for my hip

Interesting...

I had some side effects with the metformin at first, but they've eased up. The only other problem is that it can be darn near impossible to get an IV in since I started taking it (I was difficult before, but this is a whole new level).

Out of curiosity... How much is a prescription for metformin in the U.S.?
