Saylin, I have a quick question,

When I submitted the AoS packet, i did not file my 2013 taxes yet and AoS was accepted.

When I received the P4 email, i stated something that I interpreted as I have to file 2013 taxes and submit it at the interview.

My question is the following:

now that I filed my 2013 taxes, do I have to re-submit form I-864 and all supporting docs or just the 2013 tax transcripts?

Thanks

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

Yes, you should update the I-864 with the new 2013 amount (then use 2012 and 2011 as the other two previous years). Then bring the 2013 tax transcript as well to the interview. They may not want the updated I-864, but it's still a good idea to fill out and bring, just in case.

Ah - I had the same question. My AOS was approved on April 15th, and was accepted with 2012, 2011, and 2010 data. The P4 letter said the following:

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of

Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal

income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

I was going to send my 2013 tax transcript with my spouse to the interview, but I'll fill out a new I-864 as well. Should I do the whole form, or just the page with the three numbers?

Although technically just the page with the 3 amounts will be updated, it's probably best to print out the entire thing again. If not, at least print out the page requiring the sponsor's signature as well, since the form has updated information and the petitioner should sign it.

Hi NVC waiters, today I called for the 2nd time. The first time I called was June 12th, where they said they received our petition on May 21st (it was approved and sent to NVC on May 7th i think). They told me it would take 30 business days from the 21st. I called again today and now they are saying it will take 30 business days from when they started processing it on June 12th ***the day i called initially! What should we do next? I was told by the representative that when things are ready to be filled out online, that we will get an email instructing us to our next step. Have others gotten the same advice?

I was able to get a case number and IIN today thankfully. My husband lives in Japan and will move back to his home country of France at the end of July. We were hoping that he would get an interview by july so that we could do that in Japan, but it is not looking likely since NVC is moving so slowly.

NVC are doing May 22! I got case complete tonight! Before I call I go check the website AOS fee became magic "N/A"!! So it really work! you can check the AOS fee status to find out CC or not! :dancing:

Congrats! My date processing is coming close I just hope no to get checklist. Does the AOS fee changes to N/A on invoice tab or receipt tab or both? It also shows IV fee, will that continue to show 'PAID"? This is far better way to check than call!
