You need to go to a police department in the state where you reside to get it. It takes three weeks to get it. That is what my wife did. It will also cost you.

I was checking what other people posted. They said they went to Algabon for the police clearance. I don't know if this answers your question.

If you are in Lagos better go to alagbo to obtain it,it will not cost you less than 1hour to get and also it will not cost more than 4k to obtain it but if you are outside Lagos go to your state police CID to do your finger print then they will send it to alagbo close for the finall process which will take like three to four days for to get it because of transporting it to Lagos .

Its an official document. You don't need it legalized or notarized. NVC wants the original or certified copy if you have that that is what you send in.

You are fine with what you have send it in.
