Thanks for the cautionary tale on not attempting to bring controlled substances into the country, for those who might need it....

You will need to apply for a new visa, your old one was cancelled. You will be informed at the time of the interview if you need a waiver or if you qualify for a waiver.

When you say "the case didn't close" are you referring to the criminal case in Texas? Why didn't it close? Did you fail to go to court?

Thank you belinda63 for respond, yes i fail to go to court, but the immigration officer told me that i was guilty

and we gonna cancel your visa without 5 years bar for entry to US. and he said i can go back and do waiver application, and go for new visa.

yes i did fail to go to court

Not smart.

If a miracle happens and you do get back to the US, you better hope there is not a warrant out for your arrest for failing to show up for court. With an arrest, you will lose your F-1 again.

Doesn't matter if you go to another state. Law enforcement share data because people think they can escape by going to another state.

If it was possible to escape a warrant by going to another state, then no one in the US would ever be caught on a warrant as we have 50 states.

By your logic, a person can have warrants in 49 states and still be safe in the 50th.

You're not going to escape that warrant for your arrest by going to another state.

First it is doubtful you will get a visa for quite some time. Even people on family based visas usually have to wait a year if the fail a drug test. You need to clear up the warrant before applying for a visa also. Contact the court and make arrangements.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

reenter and take care of the case, because i don't understand why they didn't let me in and cancelled my visa , how i take care of the case if they will not let

me enter US?

They didn't let you in, because you broke the law....simple. You shouldn't have left without clearing up that court case. Why would you NOT go to court??? Did you think it would just go away??

you are in a catch-22 situation. You probably have a warrant for your arrest in Texas. You have no visa to return to the US because you broke the law. You can't get a visa because you have a drug conviction or pending drug charge.

Do as you were advised, go to the embassy and apply for a new visa. Very unlikely you will get one. If you do be prepared to be arrested and detained upon entry to the US.
