How are you planning on clearing up the warrant? How are you going to make a court appearance?

If you get the waiver and get a visa. When you enter, you can go to court to clear this mess up.

right, i thought i have to clean up the warrant by criminal lawyer before applying for a visa and waiver. so i just apply for waiver and visa, but i don't know

how long the processing for application waiver will take and what documents will need

thank you,

alright, you think i have to contact the court and find out if still have a warrant or not,. what about if i can get a new visa is the immigration in TX will let me

reenter and take care of the case, because i don't understand why they didn't let me in and cancelled my visa , how i take care of the case if they will not let

me enter US?

I do hope someone explained this to you.

As a student visa holder,

when you are arrested for drug possession

then

not show up to the court hearing date,

the judge finds you guilty and issues a warrant for your arrest.

You should engage a criminal defense attorney in Texas, in the same city that the judge works in, and have the attorney learn more about the case, then listen to the attorney's advice.

When you are found guilty , your student visa status is revoked. You are caught at the next immigration checkpoint (or ICE comes to your school) and sent home.

So, without you fixing the arrest and guilty finding of the court, you have no inroads to apply for a student visa for some time. 5 years? maybe. maybe never.

The lawyer represents you in court, You are currently barred from the US the court will understand that, they can't make permission for you to come, Maybe they will want to talk to you on phone during the court probably not. Your lawyer will argue for you and the court will assign whatever punishment . The lawyer will tell you what that is, maybe just a fine or two. Once that is cleared up you will need an immigration lawyer to help you with the waiver of admissibility.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

who knows? might be something done without a court calendar,

or something done ON the court calendar.

I assume you have money and a telephone, based on your country of origin.

Use both, get a criminal defense attorney (by paying him retainer fee) and explain all to him (not us) and follow his advice (not ours).
