Hi! My husband had his interview today and our case did not go so well. They first denied us and then he was called back in for a second interview and then they put our case on administrative review and kept his passport. What are the possibilities of us getting approved? We are devastated, been crying both of us since he told me, we have been apart for so long. I just want to be with my husband. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Prepare for a denial, hope for an approval.

Did you include evidence of your phone records? Good thing they called him back the 2nd time. Administration process is a chance that they might reconsider and approve his visa, they just want to verify if the marriage is bona-fide. If everything is real and cool, they'll approve it. Pray to God and all will be well.

Sadly when you come from a high fraud country (i.e. Pakistan, Nigeria, Vietnam just to name a few) the case is always under special review. Also other points as high age difference, large gap in education degrees etc.

Your case is still under review, so you might have a chance it will get approved. I wouldn't bet on it though. Were you with your husband at the interview? This always seems to help alot.

It's amazing how many questions can be resolved with a 2 minute Google search...

He is from Pakistan

Aside from thinking your marriage is not bonafide, they will do additional background checks on your husband.

And these things can take a couple months, too.
