Did you guys make copies of the whole AOS application? I made some but I can't find them anywhere, I'm starting to get everything together for interview next week and I can't find them :( I ordered some more forms online, hopefully they get here by next wednesday. But would they even count, since we fill them out again.. I'm kind of worried now. I still have my checklist, I try remeber all the supporting documents I sent with the AOS but I might forget one or two. Do I have to bring everything from the I-864? I'm kind of nervous now

They have all your documents most of the time, so put together what you can and don't sweat the rest. A more recent joint bank account statement if you have one, pictures and of course original and a copy of your support documents and you will be fine.

Hey! Did you receive a potential interview waiver letter yet? I just got mine today and it was dated July 10, 2014. It says here that my case will get delay another 6mos or if they determine later that interview is required they will notify me within that month for my interview.

Dear Fellow April filers,

I have a few questions for those of you who've already completed the AOS interview as well as those who may have knowledge regarding what I ask.

First of all, my interview is this coming Friday, August 1 and I need clarification with regards to the documents that I need to take with me.

1. On the checklist, the USCIS requests "(unless already submitted) completed Affidavit(s) of support with all required evidence." - When we mailed the initial AOS documents, we did submit completed Affidavits of support (I-864) for both the petitioner and a cosponsor. Therefore, my question has to do with the "unless already submitted" clause. Does this mean that we don't have to take two new I-864s since the USCIS already has them?

P.S.: My spouse has changed jobs over this period and now earns more than what was earned when we first mailed the docs. Also, since receiving my EAD, I've gotten a job that pays around $35K a year. So do we have to take a new Affidavit to the interview or not?

2. The USCIS also requests Original and Copy of all supporting documents submitted with the application. Does this mean that I have to once again fill out all the forms I mailed them, i.e.: I-485, I-765, G325A, I-864, as well as our joint lease agreement, our joint bank account, our joint car insurance and the photos we submitted?

Would appreciate whatever response I can generate. Thanks in advance.

Hi, my interview is in 2 weeks and my understanding is

1. No you don't need to fill out forms already submitted, no I864

2. No need for copies of the G325A, I765 I485 etc

If you have a copy of your completed medical form I-693 then take it along.

Original and copies of all your documents that prove you are eligible to adjust and proof of your current status - I-94, previous visas (in your case F1- visa) even if expired, your EAD, Student ID if you are still enrolled, DL, original certified copy of your marriage certificate, your lease and so on.

No, you do not need to fill a new affidavit of support even though your financial status has changed. New bank statements since you filed, pay stubs from both your jobs are sufficient.
