I'm only going by what the NVC told me ... I have no doubts that they have no idea... So I guess it stays as "completed" It would be too much to ask for them to post an update ! :o

It would be great if it could change to "Accepted" after NVC reviewed and accepted it, but alas that makes too much sense :P

Does anyone know at what stage we get our Alien registration number? I've already paid the AOS and Visa payments and are about ready to send the packets in but I still don't have a number to fill in.

If you don't have an A number going into this process, then it'll be assigned when the visa is issued. It'll be printed on the visa itself.

I didnt ask them. They did it on their own. (which makes sense)

THANKS FOR answering quicker .. i am the benificry so do i need to send my birth ceritificate ,pcc and pasport size photo and pasport bio data copy to NVC or i ll need it for consulate ?

my 260 fees showed PAID at 6 am today- so I submitted BOTH wife and daughter by 830 am- today 4/29!!!

When they say 'send originals'... I don't think they meant actually submitting your wife and daughter :shocked::no::jest:

Silly Chrome, won't let me fully delete the box above ... I usually use IE, but with the new threat out there I'm following recommendations to avoid it. Wonder if there will be any issues for Immigration payments or processing. :cry:

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

received checklist for ds-260 supporting docs. Can't tell if it's false or not. They are asking for everything EXCEPT the passport photos. The want birth cert, biographical data page from passport, marriage cert. divorce decree and police check. All these were emailed with to them including the passport photos. I do not understand how they could receive ONLY the passport photos and nothing else, when are were attached to the same email. Tried calling NVC this morning, waited on hold 45 minutes and then MISS ABBIE hung up on me before I could even finish giving her my case #. I'm at a loss and furious. I can't seem to get through to NVC. Anyone have any ideas as to WHY I received a checklist for these??

not that i have experience on this yet. but it's probably a false checklist. just keep calling NVC. I don't have to be on hold for 45 mins. i usually call at 7am ET.

really? that's great news! my estimated case complete will be 30 days from now.

Mine took 32 days from Case # assigned to Case Complete...

If everything trends your way 30 to 35 days from the assignment

of your case # is a reasonable guesstimate to Case Complete :thumbs:

Same troubles here.. It's no false checklist and even the lawyer is having a hard time to find out more about this issue. And the drama continues..

Are you the Dutch citizen? If you're having a problem with the birth certificate, perhaps you submitted the wrong version. Did you submit the long form? Or the short white form that you get from the Gemeente? (And did you get it Apostilled?)

not that i have experience on this yet. but it's probably a false checklist. just keep calling NVC. I don't have to be on hold for 45 mins. i usually call at 7am ET.

05/19/12 : Got married

USCIS

07/21/13 : I-130 Mailed to USCIS

07/24/13 : NOA1

01/13/14 : Case transferred to CSC

01/31/14 : NOA2

NVC

02/11/14 : NVC received the case

03/18/14 : Case number assigned and IIN/BIN

03/19/14 : ENROLL Email sent (Did not receive auto reply)

03/20/14 : DS-261 Available and submitted

03/21/14 : AOS bill Available and paid

03/26/14 : AOS shows paid

03/26/14 : ENROLL email sent again (Received auto reply this time)

03/26/14 : AOS Emailed to NVC (No auto reply, but this is the email they responded too)

03/28/14 : IV bill available and paid

04/04/14 : IV shows paid

04/04/14 : DS-260 Available and completed

04/04/14 : IV package emailed to NVC(Haven't received ENROLL acceptance yet. but I figured I'd try and see what happens, Did not receive auto reply)

04/15/14 : AOS Emailed(received auto-reply)

04/17/14 : Received ENROLL acceptance email from NVC

04/17/14 : IV package emailed(Received Auto-reply)

04/17/14 : NVC acknowledges receipt of AOS-notice by email

04/21/14 : AOS approved (No checklist woo hoo, by phoning NVC))

04/21/14 : False check list for IV docs- email from NVC

04/28/14 : NVC reviewed DS-260

04/29/14 : False checklist for IV docs- email from NVC(the second one they've sent me)

05/05/14 : NVC acknowledges receipt of IV- notice by email

05/06/14 : Case Complete

05/14/14 : Interview scheduled--JUNE 25

06/03/14 : Medical with Dr. Ian Zatzman

Hi Saylin, I find this VJ very helpful and all VJ members are very nice, especially you. Tks so much all what u have done fr this VJ. I meet a trouble now when filling out DS260. My IV fee was shown Paid on 25Apr14. I then filled out Form DS260. However, when completing all questions of DS260, I clicked Review, Application error happened and Sign button was hidden.

I have tried IE, Firefox, Chrome, but the same problem occurred. This issue has been happening from last Friday night until now. Can you guys help me? Appreciate that!

If the checklist is general, it's usually a false checklist. If it has specifics, it's not a false checklist. If you're concerned, call and ask which you have.
