Thanks !! I hope my revision doesn't slow me down. Since they didn't even log in my first package.. the second should be close behind.

I don't know what is going on at the lawyers office but there were several mistakes....

1. my husbands name was incorrect

2. my husbands address was incorrect

3. the lawyer used the wrong income amount

4. the lawyer never signed the AOS package

What did I pay for? I have done everything so far. And this is why I paid the fees myself. I am sure I'd still be waiting if I left it up to him. I am so disgusted

Waiting sucks but the NVC is not even close to the endless wait t the USCIS... I kills me to see people crying about having to wait when they only filed at the USCIS a month ago...

'

Sweet heart I'm sorry but I would fire the good for nothing and do it on your own. Your going to stay at this stage forever with this incompetent running the game. Ask for your money back and take him to court if he refuses.

I have a question, I read here if there is a name change or address change that it delays the process is this true? I hyphenated my husbands name to mine and I was given and answer that this does not change anything. But the address change I think that will cause problems?

Yes I am hopeful. There was a point in my life that I thought this was impossible.

I believe at that moment God began to put in motion a thousand things that

have brought me to this point. My wife and I have laughed, loved, cried and

prayed and now we find ourselves near the end with thankful hearts.I have played it out

in my heart what it will be like to step off the plane holding my wife and little boys

hand and be together here for the first time. I know it will be a moment pure praise!

indeed, this journey has been like a rollercoaster ride, one day your happy having your NOA2 then depressed and began being impatient waiting again to have your case number then again your on your extreme gladness if you get your # then waiting period again etc. but I think this just makes our family tighter and stronger with all the struggles that we need to overcome just to be together and finally closed the distance between our loved ones. God bless us all VJ members :)

It's been 15 business days since you "resubmitted" the DS-261. Call the NVC and ask what's going on.

Relax. It can take up to 8 weeks for a case to be send to the NVC from a USCIS office.

Sometimes you get a case complete on the old package without a checklist and then after your case complete they reopen it and checklist you. So... i generally don't recommend sending anything without a checklist because it requires a barcoded cover sheet that THEY send you.

But if it's done, it's done. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. :)

Last time I called it was told wait 30 business days... but i'll call again today anyway
