They will be easy to spot. They have the expedite fee clipped on top

I was reading your signature....

You received a checklist and sent the correction really fast.... Does the checklist come via email or did you call? I'm asking because I am expecting a checklist as I am pretty sure my lawyer used the wrong dollar amount on my AOS. He insisted it should be the adjusted income not total. I literally begged him to correct it but he said they won't bother with it because the amount is over the poverty amount. I know better but he already sent the package. I should have completed and sent the packages myself.. What's done is done , I just have to be ready for the checklist.

You can resend AOS without waiting for the checklist. Don't lose any more time.

Saylin's wiki is fabulous and full of information. But I might suggest something? Focus on the specific point of your journey you are currently on. Of course, read the whole wiki, but really concentrate on where you are. It's so overwhelming to try to absorb it all at once.

For example, I read through Saylin's wiki several times when I got to NVC, but the other day, after I had submitted both my AOS and IV packages, I went back and read about checklists, and how interviews are scheduled. I waited to really hone in on this info until I was there.

With a frozen brain from USCIS (I laughed at this - I know exactly what you mean!), thaw it out a little at a time!

Thanks! I ended up ordering another one this week. I will just send the new one in with my IV package. That should last me until the interview date.

hey all,

I did a site search on this but it's still a little fuzzy. In my IR1 package, I put down my occupation as designer.

However, I just noticed my accountant lists my occupation on taxes as "internet consultant"

I plan to keep using 'designer' on the i864 but am concerned NVC will wonder about the title consistency between that and what's listed on the taxes.

Should I be concerned?

I have attached a snapshot of the top left title section of your Timeline. When you open your Timeline, you will get an additional button (link) for Edit / Add My Entry (in Green). Hope this helps.

I tried to do this many times but with your instructions I was able to do it thank you so much and it's due to brain freeze from USCIS and I'm sticking to that.

You just need the new passport and just the biographic page.

Just added my husband's name to mine so I have to send them this information but is the biographic page the one with the new picture and

I dont meat the povery guidlnes as i dont have a job , my uncle is my joint sponsor he is retired and his 2013 income in 39000 he has a wife

I find this odd, I looked at the poverty list and for four people it's more than enough. If he has property, CD's etc I think he can used that also. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. Value of property and other assets should cover what you don't make monthly.

It is odd. If his income from his retirement is 39.000$ per year then it`s more than enough for a household size of 4. The USCIS website states a minimum of $29,812. I hope you can clarify this soon....

He needs:

passport photos

birth certificate

police record

copy of his bio page in his passport

our marriage certificate

A document from the court?(I am not sure what this is but I saw it on a page)

PLEASE let me know if I got all of this paperwork correct because I want to make sure he sends me all of the corrct paperwork.

What is needed in the IV package?

Generally, the following is needed:

- Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal

- Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary

(on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

- Copy of bio-data page of beneficiary's unexpired passport

- Original or Certified Copy of beneficiary's birth certificate, (Long Form) PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original or Certified Copy of marriage certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original police certificate PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

Reccomendation - Get everything translated into English by a certified translator

Not sure what your referring to about court papers.

Could be Divorce Decree if Beneficiary was previously married.
