For us its been exactly three months with no notice of anything other than change of the A Number. Filed Mid-January. Anyone in this situation at the TSC?

None of TSC January filers have received an NOA2. TSC is still processing Oct, Nov and Dec petitions. The current wait is 5-6 months. We (Jan filers) are expecting a July approval.

January filer here, still no movement for us January filers. I had to stay away from VJ for awhile to comfort my fiancée. This process is very difficult when you find that one person that makes you feel so loved and special, but at the same, makes it all worth it in the end. No one wants to be away from their loved ones, even if your loved one was living right next door. But this long distant relationship is not easy and not for everyone. Our NOA2 is coming, we just need to be patient, love one another and comfort each other through this difficult time, but guess what? That's what we have to now and even more so when we are together. That's love and that's marriage. This is test and only the strong, the true and the patient will make it through this long and difficult process. What gets me through the day is that I know there is light at the end of the tunnel and when my fiancee and I communicate (all day and night every day and night of the week) we don't talk about our petition. We talk about current events our future together and learning and getting to know each other as much as we can. Because when this is over, she will be the person I will live with and love and take care of, for the rest of our lives and vise versa. So this is the perfect time to really get to know the person you will spend the rest of your lives with.

Take advantage of this time. Yeah it's hard to be a part from each other. I cry some days and nights because I miss her, but we can't change the process and freaking out and stressing over when will we get our NOA2 , That will not make this process go any faster. Comfort each other, We both have our strong points and weak points. When she is weak I try to be strong and when I am weak she tries to be strong. That's what a relationship is about. It does not matter if your loved one lives next door or thousands miles away. It's all the same. It takes work and commitment from both people and not just during this difficult process but for the rest of the time you are together.

I hope who ever is reading this take comfort in knowing you are not alone. There are many of us who is going through what you are going through and know we will get through this. Stay positive, stay strong and most importantly, always communicate with your loved one. We can get through do this, and we will!!!

Good luck to all!!! Our time will be soon!!!

Same here. NOA-1 received on Dec 19, 2013.

5 months reached this week since then with no updates (except for Alien registration # assigned back in Dec.). I met Eli 2 years ago in person, got engaged last year (March 2013). I am an American citizen, Eli is from Brazil. No criminal records on either side; both of us professionals in the Telecommunications industry. We just can't wait any longer to get married, and live together. But we will hang on obviously, against all odds.

We have tons of documentation, photos, witnesses, and proof of ongoing relation for 2 years, including recent pictures with family and friends from both sides. Not to mention "15" trips since we met, some of them lasting 3 weeks.

If I don't hear by end of month, will call to a Tier-2 manager at USCIS (as requested in many posts), I am positive they are very reasonable and there may be reasons for the delay. If case continues to delay, will hire an immigration lawyer asap to follow up.

Best of luck to everyone...

Not sure what an imm. lawyer can do differently to help speed things up. Just don't want to waste your money. Contact tier 2, put in service request, contact congressmen ... those are what I think you can do next week when your 5 months is up !!

Agree with you Derrick, daily communication is vital during this process. Very kind words indeed. Good luck to both of you!

Thank you soooo much, and good luck to you two as well. This is a very difficult process, but one with a light at the end of its tunnel.

Hitting 6months in 3days. Under TSC.

We've done lot of steps from frequent calls to tier2, asking help from senator, expedite request, service request. STILL NOTHING.

Last shot will be sending an email to the USCIS director.

November26 filer.
