im about to send the IV documents and a member got me confused

we paid IV feb27, still in process, it will take 3 days receive it, so i think by that time our IV will show paid. but what confused me is that i have to include the confirmation page on the ds260? is that really needed? are those people here who sent in their IV doc before filling up ds260 had issues regarding that? for all is know the barcoded sheet is the most important and as per saylin, the confirmation is to be broguht on interview...

any inputs pls.

hey Everyone! I'm curious what you guys have done to translate your civil documents. I ran a Google search and it looks like there are a couple of translation services online, but I'm not sure if they are reliable. I'm from Romania and I don't really know a Romanian translator. also, are we supposed to notarize the translations, as well?

first of all, sorry for your lost Ms. Saylin.

I just wanna asked since I saw this member posting something about the IV packet required documents. he said that a if applicable: a divorce decree should be included in it? so should we include my husband's ( the petitioner) divorce decree? I just thought IV packet is all about the beneficiary.

I am under the impression that you don't need to email NVC to setup correspondence through email. According to my lawyer, we provided that information when filing the I-130 and that NVC should use that email information for its use as well.

Am I correct in this, or should I do as the NVC site indicates and setup email service by contacting them to go to myself and my lawyer?

Also, please add me to the spreadsheet if the chance comes up. Thanks!

You don't have to include the ds260 confirmation receipt.

May 23 - applied for SSN. June 2 - received my SSN Jun 9 - got a job. July 21 - received my green card (wrong expiration date and combined first and middle name, filed for I-90-correction) Aug 08 - applied for a state ID Sep 05 - biometrics appointment  Oct 09 - received my state ID Nov 03 - post decision activity (I-90 application) Nov 07 - card/document production (need to wait for 30 days for my new green card) Nov 10 - received the new green card (2 months & 5 days)

In IV package you need to include the bar-code of payment of the IV fees. Otherwise you will get a checklist.

When should I get Police Clearance Certificate? I called the Police office they said I should have a request letter from the embassy regarding my case. Where can I get a prove that my visa is on process and should I wait till they send me a letter of request for my PCC? Your immediate reply would greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rose

I am n the same boat for my HK police certificate, I am just going to speak to the NVC this week. From what i have been told they will send you a letter, you can use this with a copy of the list of requirements downloaded from the Internet….

All of our stuff was received at NVC on 10th Feb so we are hoping for case complete this week! What are the chances?

It would seem that it is taking roughly 15 business days from what I have seen of late.
