Still no letter from the NVC, a letter I was told I would "most definitely" get. Apparently the people doing my fiance's medical need it. Has anyone who went through the NVC gotten a letter from them? How long did it take?

I just had my fiance print out the email and take it. It's the same as the letter you get in the mail from the consulate.

I only got a NOA2 and then straight to Consulate letter. No other letters in between

Yeah I realize that's what they want, I guess they want it on an official document? You would think the interview confirmation would have it on there but it doesn't...

I hear that half the time a letter isn't even sent out.

I thought there is a letter/instruction in the packet 3 from the US embassy in your fiancee's country that will be used for the medical exam ?

Yeah I guess I'll have him print Packet 3 and he'll physically write the number on there.

Sorry to ask about something else but about how long did it take for your fiance to receive the packet from their embassy after your CEAC status changed to "Ready"?

We didn't bother waiting! You can download Montreal's Packet 3 and email it to them, so that's what he did as soon as the status said "Ready".
