Finally, after 5 months and 2 weeks the beast has spoken. I was excited, that didn't last long! I got a RFE. I'm happy though that things are finally moving. Waiting for the mail so see what documentation I need to submit.

Thank God we're finally getting some responses.

a question for the people who have emailed senators and congressmen, did you have to attach a privacy release form or anything similar for them to speak on your behalf or was it not needed?

For my congressman, I had to fill out a privacy release form online using their website where it asks for basic information including your case number and what the exact problem is, print it out (it was all typed), and included my NOA1 so they could have ALL the information! Then I sent it away to the congressman. i received an e-mail later that day from his office saying someone from his office was assigned to my case. So far, nothing, but it's only been a week. It can't be worse than TSC's wait! lol.

What does it show up as on the internet? Does your case status change? I got one saying they tried mailing me something but it didn't change the case status.

I'm waiting for my interview date :( stilllllll.....

01-08-2013 : We decided to be a couple and walk on the same life path!!!!

06-08-2013 : I traveled to the US to stay with my man for 3 months. We got engaged!!!!

Meanwhile :

July 2013 : My fiancé apply for his citizenship.

November 2013 : My fiancé become an American citizen.

12-30-2013 : I-129F NOA1.

01-06-2014 : I-129F RFE ( fee mistake - we sent 341$ not 340$ ) + NOA1 Hardcopy.

01-24-2014 : I-129F NOA 1.

02-10-2014 : Requested expedite denied.

04-28-2014 : Expedite requested (financial loss).

05-02-2014 : Email received requesting evidence to expedite + we sent evidence right away.

05-05-2014 : Expedite request approved (we called uscis on 05/08 and they told us that got approved).

05-08-2014 : NOA2

05-12-2014 : Uscis mail us noa2

05-14-2014 : Noa2 hardcopy received

05-21-2014 : Noa2 hardcopy received again with date 05-12-2014

Seeing that more and more people get approved or at least an RFE (so the case is actually moving along), I'm positive that most of us are finally getting their responses!

AHH! Tonester we have the same NOA1 date. I think next week or the following week (Since next Friday is a holiday) we should hear something. It's sounding like *most* people are hearing from USCIS at 5 months and 1-3 weeks.
