I use the timeline search feature a lot so support updating your timelines. The information there can be very helpful

I see it doesn't support straight AOS'ers from, erm, "non-traditional" sources yet....

:P

I will happily update mine when I can make it representative.

Is it possible to modify the timeline to include spots for interview date and visa received date? With many consulates and regions the routine AP/AR checks mean an approval with the interview does not mean visa is in hand any time soon.

24 March 2009 I-751 received by USCIS

27 March 2009 Check Cashed

30 March 2009 NOA received

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

Yes, my mistake, what I meant to ask was when we search for like journeys, can there be a collumn that shows average days between the two dates.

ETA: Or if there is this feature, can someone help me learn how to use it!

"VJ Timelines are only an estimate, they are not actual approval dates! They only reflect VJ members. VJ Timelines do not include the thousands of applicants who do not use VJ"

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SITE, PLEASE READ THE GUIDES BEFORE ASKING ALOT OF QUESTIONS. THE GUIDES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND WILL SAVE YOU ALOT OF TIME!

In addition to everyone filling in your timelines, it'd be awesome if everyone can verify their dates once and awhile. In doing a few timeline searches to compare people to my case, it appears some people are living in the future. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showuser=25539, for example, seem to somehow know that their case will leave the NVC and arrive at the embassy on 2006-12-27.

I'm not sure if theres some way to let people know they may have made a mistake when they put in that date, Ewok-- Maybe something that pops up saying 'Are you sure that's the right date? It's in the future.' or something, prompting them to correct it? I realize some people put in 'entry date' and 'wedding date' as future dates because theyve already booked flights, that I'm not so much worried about, its the dates that just can't be right. Unless I'm missing something.

Also as another request, it'd be nice if there were a way to exclude certain users that show up in the advanced timelines, like a little (x) beside their name (kind of similar to the top option of 'hide'), so that you can filter out people you know don't belong there or who you know have incorrect dates.

I have one, but it's old information from my failed marriage, what will I do when I eventually remarry? :help:

Guess that dosen't matter since I will be moving to England first before we do DCF to come back here. But if there's going to be an emphasis on timelines, what would someone in my situation do?
