it's not an island problem.

It's a USCIS problem.

What are you doing, specifically, with USCIS, to determine when the packet actually left a USCIS office?

then after reading the first post in the link I supplied, you know what's going on.

Sure, it sucks, it's a queue-management problem.

did you request an address update at the NVC level? I know when I updated my beneficiary address (called and sent email when case transferred from USCIS to NVC) it took a little over 3 weeks for them to ship out. The entire time when I clled they said - AP. But when I got an email acknowledging address update next day case sent to Jamaica.

bottom line, did you make any request (i.e. make them pull your file out of normal queue)

1. you buy a PC and then

2. you get to the GUIDES section and then

3. you read the K-1 flowchart.

Yes, please? Purty Please?

I just check the ceac website and it says ..in transit your interview date was provided by Nvc, so what's next

When my CEAC status says like that, the consulate sent my fiance email and asked my updating info and the sent me packet 3. But, I think some people are from Jamaica can give you a better insight. One of my friends on VJ also told me she had to call DoS ask for interview date.

You can ask her about the process:

I'm not sure why you say AP is getting overrated(your thread title). I have never seen anyone say AP is better than it actually is. My husband had AP and it wasn't fun.

In any case there is no timeline for AP, and there is no way to expedite it or predict when it will be over.
